It is but not much and it is one of the very few better products available locally... better in terms of flexibility, correction ability, finish and durability.

Hi guys, my unicorn has completed 5000 kms in 8 months with all free servicing done but there is one issue present from the start.
The fuel indicator needle shows different readings when bike is still and running, difference is about a 1/4.
This change keeps on happening when I'm riding and stop at signals. Where is the sensor located and is it repairable or will I have to replace it?

        Thanks

I don't think you need to replace the float, check the connections might be loose contact, its located below the tank

The vibes you are experiencing now is resonance vibes, it will go away if you ride at that RPM for a while, but will keep shifting, so ignore it.
I contacted Honda Regional office and they sent their head engineer to check my bike. Upon just looking he said that if Triple Clamp at the bottom is slightly bent that will cause vibrations. He insisted i get them changed as it was repaired and the angling is never perfect once repaired. I will be taking my bike to get the bottom triple clamp replaced. Hope that fixes the problem.

I'm looking for a good mechanic for Unicorn. I see 333 Racing / Mechanic Shiva, Chennai comes highly recommended here. Can someone give his contact?

If it was on any other part u could use petrol but not on the visor. Try heating the area with a hair dryer and wipe off the glue with a moist cloth

Well I am gone mad today! the reason after riding the vehicle for 800 km after the repair from the company again the cylinder has gone bad again there is sound from the vehicle now finally I have decided to give the vehicle to the asc and get the current cylinder kit open and get the work done from outside meaning filling in the gap of the cylinder kit with led so that there is no more problem i know i know I will lose the warranty to hell with the warranty what is the point of such a warranty in which there product is such which gets spoilt every 800 km.
Well I spoke to the head mechanic of the asc and he also told me to do so well what also I have decided to sell the vehicle now.
I have had enough with Honda company. They are actually making a fool out of me there product line has gone so bad as it is I have gone into a state of shock to see the cylinder kit going bad the 4th time. May be something else is the problem somewhere well lets see on friday the vehicle will be opened and by 1st of the next month I hope I shall be saying good buy to honda.

Is your bike smoking white smoke or only the noise issue? If only noise something else is the problem. Because there is no way 4 cylinder kits having the same problem. I feel that your ASC mechanic messing your bike with no expertise. Don't do anything to your new bore kit unless it is smoking. Find out the source for the noise.

I second that opinion. Check if the bike really smokes and goes down on oil.
It could also be due to improper valve seating to loose timing.
Did you run-in the bike properly after rebuild?

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.
A good mechanic will let you watch even without charging you for it. |
It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well
and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.

I told you the first time itself when you said about this plan, insist on getting the vehicle changed or getting your money back and not to get it repaired, a damage piece is a damage piece. . . It's high time I guess to get it repaired or just sell it off, you can't live with a problematic bike. . . Why don't you mail directly to HMSI instead of speaking to these people. . ?

                                Cheers!!!
