So the block diameter would be increased to 57.55 mm so that it would take the 57.55 or first over size piston.

Porting is a different matter altogether where the ports through which the intake or exhaust gases travel through are reshaped in order to achieve more power/efficiency.

Ah so the bore gets wider with each rebore, so how many rebores can a bike take? 2?

It depends on the thickness of the liner. Rx 135 block takes 6 oversize pistons.

Forget about people ripping their own bikes

Have you seen show room guys ripping bikes for registering or back from registration.
They race with newly registered / yet to be registered bikes. Pathetic bikes

I see them often as a RTO office is near my house and owners do not always accompany for registration.
I have never been to RTO personallly to register any of my bikes.

If you have difficulty in finding this the second choice is Shell AX7 10W40.
I tried veedol super swift 10w40 and found its a lot better than honda oil they filled. Honda oil may be one worst oil or they cheat by mixing up old and new oil . engine still gets heated sometime but not become harsh or loose power. May be it is lean mixture of carb tuning. I 'm getting 50 km/ltr mileage btw.
thanks.

Honda uses a very thin oil 10w30 which causes engine to heat up alot, u can also use 20w40 oils if u face alot of heating.

Guys need your help, yesterday I washed my bike in the afternoon and after that went for a ride to backwaters in the evening, that was something 20-25 kms away. . . My bike was good until I went there, we just had some time there near the backwaters and I did a burnout on the soil, almost making half tire go inside the soil and also just rode on the shores of the backwater which was of green grass and some stones, so after that, gave some break and while returning the problem started. . . It started giving jerking effect as if whenever the petrol is empty, you'll get that feeling right, the same. . . I tried to removing the spark plug, just clean it by blowing air through my mouth and started, it started and goes but as it goes, it seems like that, one of my friend said there might be some blockage in the carburetor and asked me to switch off the petrol flow, remove the screw below the carb and wait for some time cos if the petrol is mixed with some dust and all, it'll come outside and you can tighten the screw after that and then run, I tried that but was unable to open it. . . What to do guys, might it be something with the air fuel mixture or electrical problem, please help me really worried about it . . ? Thanks in advance. . .

----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

and also today morning it was bit okay, it didn't show any trouble, now after being in the rain for some time, again if I go it happens even after running it for around 9-10 kms and also suddenly it shuts down in the middle of road, what to do guys, is it normal or any major problem . . ?

rakesh clean spark plug first , and if plug cap is old then change it too.Secondly try changing petcock of petrol tank once , what happens is it gets clogged due to dirt and restricts flow of petrol , check if air filter is clogged , this has lower effect but still , lastly check carb as it is bit complex than others.

ya thanks bro, the problem got solved, gave the bike to get the carburetor cleaned and now it's running sweetly and also the sprocket rubber they saw was gone, so changed them to new, now have to a new shocks rubber as at higher speeds if I just shake, the rear part of the bike shakes a lot, the rubber was gone, so have to change it too and also I think I need to change the petrol tap cos after cruising at higher speeds, the bikes comes shuts down and I need to wait for 5-10 mins before the petrol starts flowing normally, anyone have experienced this problem, cruising at top end and stressing the bike too much that it'll stop for some time and then take some time to start and run normally. . ?

Cheers!!!

If you manage to get the upper strainer part of petrol tap then it will be fine , as only that requires replacement , if you dont get that change petcock it will be around 100rs . Also check the tank for dirt or grime using a torch . Mine splendor had same issue that reserve didnt quite work , replaced petcock and everything was fine

My reserve fuel is not utilized fully, some is always left in the tank

• Honda cb unicorn issue

I met with a second bike accident last week. Both the accidents were due to the motorcycle skidding, once in wet surface and once over a steep curve. In both the cases i had to slam the break hard to stop the bike immediately which caused the skid. Luckily, not much damage caused to the bike and the right mirror, leg guard had to be changed. However, the service centre guys insisted that the spoke tclip was bent and need to be repaired. I agreed with what they adviced though i could not see any bent. I got the bike day before yesterday as the service centre guys took 4 days to repair the bent and noticed jerking and could feel a vibration in the throttle bar when changing gears. Today I took the bike to honda Service Centre and upon expressing my unhappiness they asked me to leave the bike for a day.

Have they screwed my Bike?? I am not sure what i will experience tomorrow. What could be the problem??????

Bro first let me tell you from small things, the bike simply doesn't skid unless you brake it too hard, avoid it, try practicing braking and it will be useful during accidents, secondly try to get a better wet grip tire, if you are looking for sports kind of tires, Zapper Q or Vyde is great or else if you are looking for the ones with buttons, CEAT vertigo and MRF Meteor or Michellin Sirac street are there which have good wet traction. . . I can't comment much about your jerking but if you had the jerking feeling after the accident then I think it might had been some mistake or else if it is from the SVC, you gotta take it to them and ask them to rectify it which you are doing now and who said just to repair one spoke bend, they'll take 4 days, . ? It's not at all possible as they take around 15-30 minutes to remove the bend, may it be spoke or alloy wheels as I have got it done two times and both times, he has done it around 15 mins. . . Try braking. . . Next time, leave your bike with a local mechanic or a SVC guy whom you trust or no and not with everyone. . . Get back to us and tell us what the Service guy said you and whether they rectified it or not. . .

@RohIIT thanks bro, will get it cleaned and change it in another week or so. . .

Thanks for responding bro. Yes i will try practising but dont want to change tyres now as the bike is 3 months old and has clocked 4000 kms. I am not very technical with bikeso i explained something wrong. The SVC insisted in repairing the front forks tclamp as they thought it is bent.

I went to to SVC and saw my bike ready. Took a test drive and was very happy that the problems got rectified. Drove it to work but while returning fro work could feel vibrations in throttle bar and while braking could experince jerking. Before the accident once i have croosed 50 speed i could feel a slight vibration which according to SVC is normal which i now experience at 40 speed. Also if u leave the throttle a bit once riding at 60 or 50 and apply slight throttle the bike jerks forward. I am now getting tired and think have to take thebike to SVC again. The bike was perfect expect the mirror and leg guard being damaged and dud nit have tgese issues when i gave it to SVC post accident. I think by repairing the TClamp and they mentioned they changed ball bearing in handle i think they did something wrong. When i asked SVC guy today as to what the problem was he mentioned that clutch adjustment was required. I was so happy in the morning but am sad again.

I love my bike and keep it in top notch condition. Not sure what on earth is the issue which these trained SVC cannot fix in one go.
