OMG.....Killer Looks....and nice & very thoughtful graphics, nothing extra. Pure Drool-Mal....wish HMSI will sell as a special/Limited edition.Originally posted by rmchhetri View PostBtw, posting picture of the all black CBR from the get together. Please post your opinion.
How would an ALL RED (silver section painted red)with black rims look??
Painting all red is not a good idea...IMO...Isn't going to looks like a RED ZMR and feels like toy, but black rims do good.Last edited by Neel08; 09-25-2011, 03:43 PM.

We're empathetic with your situation & really bad that has happened you, but, if you loved you vehicle so much, why didn't you put back in a safe place; if you'd parked at a regular place, then we could probably point the people who did a careless work without prior information.Originally posted by Knight Ryder View Postwhile doin so...bike verryyyyyyyyyyy badly....

Why do you care on the tank if you've a full cover & the insurance company pays for you? You should be more worried about when HMSI will ship the parts ratherOriginally posted by Knight Ryder View Posthow much wil i have to pay for my tank.........
+1Originally posted by sudeepnbr View Postyou should've been a bit more careful and parked your bike in a safe place

FE Test Result
Had to make a trip last night to my home town and wanted it to be something different. Decided to do a efficient ride as economical as possible. Though I was Expecting a good figure I was blown away by the result. I know no one would believe but this is 'the Truth' an astonishing """47.01Kmpl"""
not from a platina it is from our beloved CBR250R.
Test Conditions:
Highway ride - 372Kms+3km(after 1st fill)+3km(before 2nd fill)
Route- NH7
Time taken - 5:50hrs
Avg speed - 63kmph (hell boring speed)
Rev range - 4.5K - 5K rpm
Fuel stop/rider stop - 0 / 1 (lu break)
Expected - around 42Kmpl
Test Result:
I went speechless

The Full Black look on the Ceeber was indeed killer looking.
Oh and BTW I had also been to the CBR Club event. However they kicked me out as i went in to park along with the ceebers
. The funny thing was that the event Started with the comperor asking me about CBR ownership experience
.. Everyone was laughig like hell at that.
Some event Highlights were arm wrestling by gisrish(xxbomb) and dance by sudeep

Sudeep - Brilliant work; may be he should add Honda at the bottom engine cowl & that should be a fabulous work.

You do not need to be speechless. Approx 45 kmpl is the FE EXPECTED from a CBR ridden with respect for the machine's role. This is as per the Honda officials who interacted with media prior to the launch of the vehicle. Unofficial stuff this but coming from official sources makes it credit-worthy.Originally posted by Youngking View PostHad to make a trip last night to my home town and wanted it to be something different. You see, for the Indian rider starved of good looking and 220 cc plus bikes, the CBR has come as manna from heaven. So every yobbo CBR owner revvs the engine like crazy and makes out like Rossi or Lorenzo. THAT IS NOT WHAT THE BIKE IS MADE FOR!!!!!!!! It is made for commuting to office/college, casual riding with your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend(!) AND with sharp handling for those occasional curves on long rides. It is be labelled with an "R" suffix for marketing purposes and because it can be ridden well around curves. If you ride it the way you rode that trip at may be 70 kmph, it will return nothing less than 40 kmpl AND last much longer, much, much longer than your rev happy counterparts
