    • Disk pads

I got my second servicing done at around 4500km. Both filter and oil was changed.

Mechanic told me that the rear disk pads needs to be replaced. And we dont have that in stock. Any suggestions?? Mine is a STD model.

It didn't demand any extra servicing other than the regular one. For me, till now it has been a No Tension bike.
same here i have been riding my cbr from 45 days and done 1200 km no issue till now did 1st service and everything is fine ..

There's no tension free motorcycle in this planet as its only a subjective; what could outlast someone's life could break down for others. Like Sudeep says, his bike rides simply fine, while mine broke down; not sure if the new engine would also go kaput or become fine. From TVS50 to Triumph, the dynamics is to learn the strength & weakness of a motorcycle & cope up to live with it. No wonder many call their rides as wife

Its like a love marriage vs arranged marriage; if you understand C250R & then decide to buy, its a love marriage; for the rest like me, its an arranged marriage, we buy & then we try to understand

Pad replacement @4500 Kms seems to be too early, any special case? I have done 5300kms and I feel still the rear brake is good. any details would help. Going for 2nd service next week after the weekend rides .

i think he is riding his bike in city most of time..
if u use bike on highway much then the disk pads work more then city.
in my karizma r i have to get new diskpad in every 5 to 6 k km in city riding front one.
and who r riding there karizma on highways they change it around 20 k km..

Yes that should be the reason! I have done 90% of riding on highways only, I hate riding in city traffics. Even if there will be a need to change it will be my front brake pads first as I use them mostly.
