same here i have been riding my cbr from 45 days and done 1200 km no issue till now did 1st service and everything is fine ..Originally posted by sudeepnbr View PostI've been riding my CBR 250R from last 58 days / 3500 kms. I commute on it daily (~30 kms), did a lot of weekend rides and trips (50 - 400 kms rides) and take it everywhere.
It didn't demand any extra servicing other than the regular one. For me, till now it has been a No Tension bike.
hmm have u asked then to order disk pad for u and whats the price of front and rear disk pads any clue ?Originally posted by Mail2vasant View PostI got my second servicing done at around 4500km. Both filter and oil was changed.
Mechanic told me that the rear disk pads needs to be replaced. And we dont have that in stock. Any suggestions?? Mine is a STD model.

Well I think the demand in City's are remaining the same. But a friend of mine who Booked CBR at Erode, TN, got it in 5 working days! Well, Blame Aadi month and the orthodox Erode'ians I say

There's no tension free motorcycle in this planet as its only a subjective; what could outlast someone's life could break down for others. Like Sudeep says, his bike rides simply fine, while mine broke down; not sure if the new engine would also go kaput or become fine. From TVS50 to Triumph, the dynamics is to learn the strength & weakness of a motorcycle & cope up to live with it. No wonder many call their rides as wifeOriginally posted by airbase View Postdoes this bike qualify as a no tension bike
Its like a love marriage vs arranged marriage; if you understand C250R & then decide to buy, its a love marriage; for the rest like me, its an arranged marriage, we buy & then we try to understand
Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
Awareness + Skill is what keeps you out of harm's way
ATGATT + Awareness + Skill means you might Live To Ride another day

Pad replacement @4500 Kms seems to be too early, any special case? I have done 5300kms and I feel still the rear brake is good. any details would help. Going for 2nd service next week after the weekend ridesOriginally posted by Mail2vasant View PostI got my second servicing done at around 4500km. Both filter and oil was changed.

Yes that should be the reason! I have done 90% of riding on highways only, I hate riding in city traffics. Even if there will be a need to change it will be my front brake pads first as I use them mostly.Originally posted by Rahul Rods Tewathia View Posti think he is riding his bike in city most of time..
