Going tomorrow for the second service after having completed 5.8K kms with the weekend rides. Today morning did some serious ride for 100+kms to the full potential on NH7. Some observations after during today's ride.
1) Engine has lost its smoothness - Its high time for an oil change.
2) When riding in bad roads some noise from the front perhaps from the fairing, hope will get fixed after the service.
3) Requires a through cleaning as it got really dirty with mud.
@anyone - I have numerous minor scratchs around the tank pad, anyway to fix them? - Tank is getting scrathes easily under extended use of the bike

I'm staying neutral; if I were you, I'd go through the ownership threads for a decision.Originally posted by vinbex View Postdidar would be the better option ???
HMSI suggests regular 91 octane; if you need a minor noticable difference, use the 97 octane.Originally posted by Gulabi_chadi View Postwat kind of petrol one should prefer normal one or something like speed, power,hp premimum

Try taking it to any car detailing workshop & ask if they can fix.Originally posted by Youngking View PostI have numerous minor scratchs around the tank pad, anyway to fix them?

Well I have no idea whats with KUN HONDA(is it because its HONDAOriginally posted by vinbex View Postwhy was i told 10 months waiting period for the c-abs one in KUN honda CHENNAI???why the hell!
) these days .. let me tell you this ( KUN is a very very very good and also a big dealer ) .. Just walk into any Hyundai Kun .. you will know the service which you get ( by far the best IMO ) coming back to the waiting period .... well I seriously pity for these dealers .. the reason .. lack of co-operation from HMSI itself ! They just dont inform these guys properly and its the dealers who get it ... If if I were the dealer and dont have any clue ... I would say 10 months ... simple because I dont want to give you any false promises ! You might even recieve the bike well before 10 months ... but sad dealers play it safe like this !!

In this regard, I lodged a complaint in Honda website stating, non delivery of the bike and poor response from the showroom. I received a call from the Honda-HO to confirm my compliant. Later I received a call from my dealer, and he was talking so pleasingly and promised that, the bike will be delivered with a month for sure! I dont know whether it is for sake to close the complaint or it is for real.
Your views are welcome!
Am glad that atleast you recieved the call from both HMSI and the dealer ... BTW where did you book bro ?

Hello
After projector bi xenon lamp
I changed the exhaust to a cheap one but it didnt last for even half an hour the sound at higer rpm after 5 goes to PAT - PAT like torn silencer . Now i think spending rs 24000 on TBR slip on silencer is only option. .
So hows sound quality . The video on youtube sounds nice but its official . Has anyone tried for exhaust change plz post pics and feedback bcaus many other are also wating to replace stock ..
PROBLEMS of projector lamp
1. Water vapours in headlamp instantly after washing (takes two hours in sunlight to go)
2. Lost 2 Lkey screws aue to rust needed to drlled . Cannot find new
3. After washing sometimes projector ring or dipper beams stucks or not works till connectors are reinserted .
4. Every time you cannot open faring so ur hands have 2 do hardwork for above ...lol

My CBR Review - Requires your comments on this
I bought a Honda CBR250R C-ABS model on 27th June, 2011. After first service, I noticed that engine smoothness has gone completely. Every time I open and close throttle, I can feel that engine is not moving smooth. It feels like sand in the engine. This happens only in low gears i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th (little bit rough) gears. Also I noticed vibrations during run time.
I contacted my dealer in Bangalore (Dream Honda), the CBR technician told me that it was due to tighten chain and he adjusted the chain. But the problem is not resolved.
Is there any problem with the engine, I mean is it requires any kind of tuning? Please let me know your comments.

I think headlight is not opened they just cut the sheet and after fitting applied silicone i can touch silicone coming out of all sidesOriginally posted by veryhiphop View PostI think; when headlight was open and setup the Projector by MXsports has not been done proper...there must be some gape been left...
I m bit dissapointed i payed rs5k for this specially went there in trAin frm punjab . Its not a satisfactory work . Anyways god id watching
Its not an issue as it can be avoided while carefull washing
But its common problem with most people as they dnt know proper techniques and just do the work for their sake of their sales
