Guys what is the current waiting period for CBR?
I had booked mine on 6th July, the people from the showroom have informed me that I'll be getting my bike within the week. (Showroom: Globus honda, Pitampura, Delhi) How is it that the waiting period has come down so drastically (from 2-4 months that I had heard), any ideas anybody?

Hey guys, it's so great seeing all of you lucky CBR owners. I booked mine on 23 July at Haiku Honda, Bangalore.The guy said it'd take 4-5 months

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my questions but here goes.

1) How is Haiku as a dealer/ASC
2) My slot is currently 146 - anyone know what the current number is
3) Can I switch to another dealer in Bangalore ? to get it faster
4) Does anyone have experience with a loan for this bike. ? How does it work?

BTW.,... Ive booked the Silver STD version. Thinking of switching to black

I was quoted 58.5k as downpayment and 4.3k as EMI for 34 months from HDFC for STD

Wow, 58k downpayment. Hmmmm... so did you go ahead with it ? I was wondering if you have a credit card if you can just swipe it and do one of those dial an emi things just for the downpayment lol

Same HDFC, My papa paid 40K down and 5K installments!

I just dunno how he did that!

My self booked my darl on 28th march, at chennai. The showroom people has no idea about the delivery. They just say, i dont know sir. I will inform you when it comes.

In this regard, I lodged a complaint in Honda website stating, non delivery of the bike and poor response from the showroom. I received a call from the Honda-HO to confirm my compliant. Later I received a call from my dealer, and he was talking so pleasingly and promised that, the bike will be delivered with a month for sure! I dont know whether it is for sake to close the complaint or it is for real.

would be of great help. Else I'd have to start sacrificing a lot of things right away and save up for downpayment

Weird. HDFC told me the downpayment cant get below 58k. Btw how long is ur term?
And i still think 58k DP and 4.3k for 34months is a rip off (Anyone good at banking please correct me)
Muthoot was there too offering me 58k DP and 3.5k EMI for 36months(*but they wanted shitload of proof and documents and had more conditions than my brain could acknowledge)
But i dont get why the huge difference b/w the two (My banking knowledge is too weak lol)

Well i have 2 and a half months time to get my bike. By that time the monsoon will be over and i will be happy to have less rust accumulating on my bike and have lesser need to clean my bike everyday

So yeah im waiting to decide where im going. Good thing i have so much time.. im still keeping an eye out for That Other Brand too
