                    1. Next time when you're at HMSI ASC, ask to look for their workshop manual of C250R & it clearly says you can use 20W-40 or 10W-30

                    2. I can explain, but, what I learned on engine oil is from PSR ji; I'm sure he visits this thread often & I'll let the original knowledge speak than the borrowed one

Anyway point is that, when you're are higher temperatures (compare Chennai & BLR) its better to use an oil that can with stand higher atmospheric temperatures rather than lower ones. Like for example, Chennai has certainly more than 30C. So using a 10W-30 will make the oil unsustainable to withstand the engine's heat.

Like I said before, its hard for me to explain & I'll let the original ideas flow through from the right person. He'll be able to put things better.
                    Hi Aargee,

Could you please help me with below query?

I bought a Honda CBR250R C-ABS model on 27th June, 2011. After first service, I noticed that engine smoothness has gone completely. Every time I open and close throttle, I can feel that engine is not moving smooth. It feels like sand in the engine. Also I noticed vibrations during run time.
I contacted my dealer in Bangalore (Dream Honda), the CBR technician told me that it was due to tighten chain and he adjusted the chain. But the problem is not resolved.

Is there any problem with the engine, I mean is it requires any kind of tuning? Please let me know. Also please share honda officials phone numbers and e-mail ID's if you have.

If the tube is plugged /closed at lower end, then it is for holding the Engine Breather oil.

it is closed at the hanging end..i have just placed it where it would stay put instead of letting it hang at the bottom.is it okay?or should i keep the pipe hanging?

                        cheers.

Yes leave it to hang down..you need it to be down for the oil to flow down due to gravity and collect there.
