Originally posted by googboog View Posti got mine 10 days back, there was no 5k increase in Bangalore as of July endIn Bangalore, the prices were increased from April 1st. That's when no one even got the delivery of their bikes.Originally posted by redrage View PostDitto here. Made the payment yesterday. No Price increase here atleast.
The on-road prices are a bit more compared to what they had put on the Honda website initially, but not 5k, its just around 1k-2k.
EDIT:
It just over 1k. Reason: VAT % was increased by 1% w.e.f 1st April.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I definitely does. There goes my plan to buy a Nuvo helmet. Have to settle for a LS2 now.Ahhhhh GOTDAMNIT!!!
Now that just sucks balls

Think so., many like me who waited few more months to assess the initial feedbacks from the early birds before buying have to pay the price now . :-)^^^ Lol
So there're some benefits to be an early bird I guess!!!

Senior guys Please advice
Ahmedabad Xbhp guys are planing for a G2G trip about 250 odd kms,
Can i take the CBR & join them.
I'm still in running in period of the blade, abt 260kms in odo..
Is it safe to take it over 5k rpm as these guys plan to ride above 100kmph for the cruise at early hours..
At present the speeds i have taken @ 6ht gear
rpm - kmph
4000 - 62
4500 - 73
5000 - 81
At a a forward inclination , the engine stops if i fail to raise the throttle a bit high in first gear, Is this normal ?
Also is it advised to wash the engine side, just above the under-cowl, where muck sticks so bad with a water hose ?

Got a call from my dealer as well as HMSI West Regional Office. The dealer has clarified that the sticker on the manual was meant for some other bike and mistakenly put over mine.Originally posted by xsreality View PostI have dropped a mail to HMSI regarding this issue. Let's see what they come up with.
The HMSI guy also confirmed the same and apologized for the inconvenience. The correct servicing schedule is 6K kms / 6 months only after first service.
So that clears it up. Quite impressed with the prompt response.

Very nice.
This all black version is looking a lot better than the back-silver combo.
I have used the same kind of spray can for painting my Pulsar 150 black.Last edited by ab47; 07-28-2011, 06:45 PM.Wake up to Motorcycling!
