Welcome to the world of Honda CBR.

I don't really understand what is warming up an engine?

          * Is it like, you start your bike, and ride it mercifully till it attains optimum temperature?

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

I'm talking about Workshop manual & not owner's manual.

              Warming up means...
              - You actually start the vehicle & don't run it. Just leave it in idle, no increase in throttle etc
              - While you do that, the engine turns on the engine oil pump, that keeps the oil flowing through your cylinder walls, rocker arms & basically get the entire lubes to flow
              - Means, you lube the parts before you actually open up the throttle
              - And you do that when the engine is at low RPM, that way, you make less damages to your engine on long run

Now that's not only for C250R, but, for any 4Joke engine (including car) from Pep to Pulsar & Dio to Ducati!!!
