Just be care full and carry extra fuses ...because these horns are known to develop winding short circuit and blow main fuse in bikes...these horns are not weather proof...

      • Coneset Issue

Guys, i am facing this issue since long,my bike's handle becomes stiff after every ride in the rain,so today finally i went to he showroom and checked it and they agreed that it is an issue all over india, the coneset catches rust.So hopefully they are going to replace it by tomorrow! The spare part quality really sucks on cbr!

one will go where the stock is tightned but its air mouth is rotated backwards . so that it not touches the tyre mudguard while braking
The sound from a horn travels in the direction it is aimed at So a backward rotated horn will be heard most loudly by you.

For starters, you did the right thing by getting an ABS version- going froma blaze to twin disc bikes is a little scary i would think.
Get used to the gears - take it easy till you get the hang of how these bikes turn - they won't have the same - whip it around kind of feel like the non geared bikes but ull get used to it...

Dont mess up the gears - learn how to clutch properly - id say practice on some other bike - the main mistake u can make is to down shift all the way from 6 to 1 and release the clutch

hey congrats for ur cbr. that initially u will be having the trouble of Handling the bike. so dont take into the traffic u ride on the highway and just understand the bike and dont exceed more than 6000 rpm initially

the cbr has the smooth clutch that u will not have any problem ,just practice on other gear bike first otherwise u will not enjoy ur bike, if anything happens to the gear box or the clutch it will be a big trouble to u and u will face so many probs in future.

What a light there has been no tampering with the electric system of the bike everything is on clips really the bike looks awesome with the hid unit.

                            • I am taking my black beauty for 1st service today. Done about 500km. I want the servicing to be done as immidiately after the service we will be out for a 4000km long ride from Coimbatore to Bhubaneswar and back in 20 days. Its gonna be enjoyable am sure.

Well anything in specific to look for or ask the mechanic to check except the cone-set issue which seems to have affected almost all CBR so far.

hey best luck for your trip there is nothing specific but do carry all tool's to tighten Chain and also carry chain lube and clean as i've seen after non-stop riding for 200-300kms chains gets dry so just buy small cans of Chain clean and Lube it will cost 500Rs for both cans .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.
