and ya Ive asked this here before as well,the fairing gaps
i asked the showroom guys twice to fix them,and they claim to have tried it on both occasions but its still the same or maybe worse now.

Its only on the right fairing ,so i was wondering if anyone else ever got it fixed(i rembr Mr Sudeep replying to that) .If so then I'll try to fix it myself this weekend.

BTW went to kodaikanal this weekend,there road had some amazing twisties and luckily saw a black CBR with a fully armored rider in red-black jacket between kodai-panali.Anyone from xbhp?

Imo its not a gud thing to do.. bcz of heat which exaust exerts.. it wont b there for much time..

btw same thing happnd wid me as well
wat i did is i bought silver colour paint n used it at such parts

same wid me and my muffler guard looks too bad now ..

touched it many times in cars and autorikshas and its all in bad shape wid many scratch wid dent too..
here r pic of muffler guard and suggetion needed for it what to do now .

dirty radiator, no prob it can be cleaned in 2 min wid low pressure wash

and now update on horn ..

Well done 600+ kms in 36 hrs... it's was nice... bike was awesome for cursing at 80 to 130... it's was really fun... meet Xbhpies at Ahmadabad... will upload picture later....

Thanks. I'll check that out, but in the meanwhile, Honda's sent some guy from Continental Tyres to check out the problem. I'm gonna meet him tomorrow and I'll post what's the outcome.

I highly recommend sticking around the bike till its being serviced.
After booking Mine i went downstairs to the service dept to talk to the mech and to my shock.. the CBR which was to be serviced was standing very close to a rough wall and the side fairings were off.
The fairings were placed on the ground (nothing underneath and very close to other mechs servicing other bikes/scooters)

and the CBR trained mech was busy working on the Activas to the immediate right(on the hoist/ramp)

You know I had this same issue of mud covering that exact portion of the radiator guard! Removed it somehow but doesn't seem like its gone altogether

BTw guys, what's your idle RPM? mine stays at around 2k RPM..is that alright?

Mine starts at 2k but settles down to 1.5k.

I strongly suspect the culprit to be your ASC. Try a reputed ASC. From what I witnessed in Chennai, most parts are available at good reputed dealership easily.

My brake fluid was less. It was at about the lower mark. When i inspected the brake pads they are almost worn out. Even i am clueless how the brake pads lasted for just 5000kms. I think the situation here in delhi is worse than chennai. Here the showroom guys, mechanic, officials have no knowledge or experience. I have called up customer care several times but i think they dont care about this spare parts issue. I dont know how will i get the brake pads..

i think we can easily get aftermarket diskpads many xbhpians are using bybre clipper in 220 so they get it from pbk ..

can any 220 guy comfirm this..

size wise.....i think, as big as the RE taurus..diesel...he did fire'd it up sounded heavy!!!......earth moving....
