"Sure? What about the bent fins?"

the fins which u see outside is a small part of the whole, which passes through the radiator. so fins r safe only except the end part which u say is bent while cleaning.....which is not a problem at all.
Pls dont worry about it and forget the issue.

If anybody has the Shop manual copy please verify this

The shop manual says as regular maintenance, to just use something thin and bend the small fins back into place
Above quote is from the cbr forums Dirt splashing on Radiator.

      • ^^^ It says, adjust the bent fins with screwdriver. Personally, I don't like to see bent fins nor would like to waste my time in fixing up the bent fins with a small screwdriver.

Congrats on the well earned pride and joy. We would suggest you complete the run in period of your bike before going for any performance mods.

You would have waited for so long to get ur bike, i suggest you wait a little longer, till you clock around 1500kms on the ODO before going for an exhaust mod.

If you are hitting around 600kms in 2 days, this should not take long for you.

'Remus' is one of the sweetest sounding exhaust for CBR250R. The note is meaty and has a growl to it, You can chk it out in youtube to get a basic idea. Cost in india would be around 10k (i am not sure about your budget, but there are less expensive options as well). Make sure to consider other relevant mods which go hand-in-hand with performance exhaust as well, such as performance air filters.

If CBR is your 1st bike then i'll suggest that Dont do any mod untill next 10000kms. reason is this is your 1st bike and i think befor going for any mod one should be fully aware of what is he riding ( i mean stock CBR's capacity, handling and many otherthings) so please hold your hourse till next few months and then go for any mod you want.
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

A total of 20k to change both tyres to Pirelli Sport Demon, that too lasting 10 to 15k kilometers... 20k annual recurring expense seems quite harsh.. Can somebody confirm the price.
This is a wrong pricing. Pirelli Sports Demon for Ninja cost 6,750 for pair so there is no way your bike's tyre would cost so much. Speak with RS Enterprises 020 26330245.

This is the shop from whom we 3 Ninja owners have purchased tyres.

What is the purpose of this radiator cover? It won't keep away mud and is useless against stones.
