Please post this in the R15/FZ thread-some owners have been charged upto Rs.300 for chain cleaning&lubrication!
    Daylight robbery, I'd say.

I am speaking out of personal experience as I have removed&reinstalled the tank pad on my R15.
What brand did you try? Did you buy the Yamaha supplied one for R15 or from outside?

Am afraid it might stop working if it continues like this. My project this weekend is to find a good mudflap (Someone who has already tried it got it from a Yamaha bike, dont know which one though). I'll share the outcome with ya all.
        Hi rmchhetri,

I am sumanth (known as sumantg in Xbhp) and i have installed mub falp on my CBR. Soon i will upload pictures. I forgot the mud flap part number which i bought from Yamaha.

I have a drill machine with me and i have fixed it myself (20 mins of time).

Now, my radiator is safe guarded from mud and water. People in bangalore can call me @9880250499, in case you need any help in this regard.

        Regards,
        Sumanth

The price quoted for Pirelli Sport Demon:

                  110/70 = 2800/-

                  140/70 = 3800/-

                      • Best ASC in pune

Guys, my CBR's due for the first servicing, so I'm probably gonna go tomorrow. Which is the best ASC in pune?

Also, what extra things do I need to ask them to check? Eg, whether steering cone is rusted (steering feels a little stiff lately), my as of yet unsolved tyre hydroplaning issue, and so on.

My office is at ecospace belandur and I daily commute from kundalahalli. Though only 7 or 8 kms the construction work on the way makes everything worst . There is no good alternate route.
I am plannig to buy a bicycle for this purpose and that can enhace the performance of my CBR by weight reduction method .

Nice work done correctly..The stock is 6 Amperes not 7.,model ETZ 7..(6AH)...If you can give a 5 or 8mm foam or soft rubber at the back of the battery where it rests, it will prevent body vibrations affecting the battery..Please remember that most Automotive Battery fail due to the mechanical vibrations which makes the internal plates brittle.
