Hello psr,
can i put any of these oil filters in CBR.. will there be any problem caused to the engine.. I will change the oil filter to original CBR one, once the stock is received.. till then can i use FZ's or Caliber's??Everybody dies.. But, not everybody really live!!

whatever has been done is totally the idea of my fabricator (includes the colour and stickers)..he even wanted to fabricate foam handle bar and swingarm retainers and adjusters but since i was on a serious crisis of time, he said he'll do it when i come for holidays...
The material used was extracted from a gym equipment (for making calf muscles..dunno wat thats called) so NO QUESTION of low quality product...
costed me 2500/- (500 was tips for the exceptionally awesome stand he made for me in such a little time...i just wanted to hug him and say "bhai u are the bestest among the best"
he confessed in the end that "if it wer not for you, i wud never have made a stand with so much dedication and passion for perfection...for any other customer, i simply wud have said "we dont do such stuff" ..
He agreed to do more stands for anyone who wants it done and willing to ship it (provided u pay for the shipping)....
U just have to use the name "Amlan" or else he'll say NO!
for more details, drop me a PM (ps i may take anytime from one week to one month to reply to us msgs as i will be on the move this week and will take some time to settle down at my new destination) or else drop me an SMS on 09583368893 (as long as em gonna use it,max to max for another week)

Honda showroom says that they will arrange a original stand for me @ 2800/- so i think ur stand will cost too much after paying the shipping charge... brother

Lol!!!
Pls refrain talking like this in public. Amlan has invested much on his own effort & time to make one. Its not the cost, its the passion that drove him & no money can measure passion.Originally posted by blackprince View PostHonda showroom says that they will arrange a original stand for me @ 2800/- so i think ur stand will cost too much after paying the shipping charge... brother
Congrats. Now that raises few questions...Originally posted by blackprince View Postafter almost 2months waiting period..
While the entire nation has 4+ months of waiting period & you get in 2 months, does that mean...

I am suggesting an alternative in size and fit....I had also mentioned to please check with Honda SVC for acceptance and fitting..Whatever you do , be aware it is not to stock specification and you have to make the decision at YOUR Risk.any deviation from original design parameter is to be evaluated , and then only used, which is why consulting with Honda SVC engineers is essential .Originally posted by kishoremuthu View PostHello psr,

Btw i finally booked mine today. Now my wait begins. Hopefully in 3 months time i could end up getting a bike with little or no niggles :P
But maybe im just hoping :P
Btw i dont know why u guys are complaining about non availability of oil filters.
After i booked mine i went down to service area there was a RED CBR on one side of the bay and i called the CBR trained mech(trained in Blore it seems) and he didnt look like a pro but i was pretty satisfied with what he knew about it.
And i spoke to the service manager and he said he had 3 filters last week (2 went out).. One will be fitted on the bike present in the bay. I asked him how long will it take to get a new order and he said he can do it in a week's time or two.
@Sudeep if u see this please change the date of booking in ur list please? :P it says 2021 lmao(altho i cant laugh at it because it cud be true) :PLast edited by Nithesh; 07-21-2011, 08:52 PM.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

It's nener too early to get up for a good morning ride, the feeling of cool breeze through the visor of your helmet, the joy of riding in group with like minded people and sharing a few pointers on bike and stuff related to bikes. The adrenalin rush of taking your beast to the max on an open stretch has absolutely no substitute.Originally posted by r13nick View Post5:30am

Can you tell me how did you narrow down to this particular bag ?
I am basically looking for daily commuting apart from carrying stuff for a day or two.
For my daily commuting, i would have a laptop, raincoat and small stuffs.Last edited by bhs; 07-21-2011, 09:05 PM.
