I have finally got my Tricolor ABS yesterday after a long wait of over a month.

Bought it from Rajindra Honda (in Babarpur, Delhi) - oveall a good buying experience as the staff was quite courteous. Also bought the seat cover (original Honda) from there itself - almost Rs. 300, but fits quite nicely and has no ugly design or writing on it...

The bike is running well (although I have done only a small ride of 30kms till now). A few questions:
      1. There is a vibration noise coming from console - goes away when I press it. Any idea if it is something that needs minor tightening? I heard that some members had to change the console under warranty to get rid of such vibrations...
      2. How is the rear brake strength in your bike (mine is ABS) - I feel its a bit too week - needs a strong push... My classic CBZ seems to respond better and stronger
      3. Has anyone lowered the gear-shift lever - I feel its a bit too high (maybe I just need to get reaccoustomed to this as I have been riding classic CBZ since 9 years)... Any feedback on this?

And thanks everyone for all the wonderful information that has been flowing on this thread.. And yes, I have gone through the FAQ pages many times over in past month
Post a picture of the seat cover. I am also looking for a seat cover. Btw i bought mine from the same showroom.
My bike was also having the same problem of rattling from the console area. Just go to the asc and ask them to rectify the issue. The rattling from my bike is completely gone.

Press what? The console? It needs to be PROPERLY attended by a COMPETENT mechanic to adjust the fairings OR worst case put up double sided sticky tapes.

The harder you press, the stronger the brakes; you need to learn on using more front brakes than the rear; not sure if you classic CBZ was weighing as much as CBR + you need to ride a STD CBR

Read & understand all the FAQ underneath my signature (once again), it has not only this, but more than other questions that you can think of. If anything else is not addressed, feel free to discuss

                  1. This is a complete OT discussion in CBR 250R ownership thread
                  2. You've already completed & earned a record, mine is nothing better than yours as I only wanted to complete GQ but not for records
                  3. I haven't, absolutely haven't discussed about my ride with anyone except my friends who're in close circle for a simple fact - avoid negative comments. So you CANNOT find a T'Log anywhere on the internet, but for sure, the ride was very well documented & has been shared ONLY with intended & people who helped me achieve the feat

I guess, we'll stop discussing such things in public If you need anything, use PM or FB

Note - Pls use the EDIT feature as making back to back posting is against the forum rules.

if you are talking about the plastic parts (grey plastics on the side) and the shiny grey strip between the fairing and the tank.. then yes i bough the CF initially for that only however due to rains and tight workl schedule i was unable to get them open and get this done..

also this was done by me .. thats why i stated DIY.

have just tried on exhaust as of now.. planned to be added to the rest of the matt plastic parts.. however the deal is . i want it all in one peice and no joints in vinyl is there is not a joint in the vehicle at a place to look neat..

will ask for pro people to work on the panels..

                            • I guess this has been already discussed but I could not find it. I wanted to know about the reliability of the fuel indicator. When on side stand, it shows 2 bars and when I start moving it becomes 3 bars. Also when is it urgent to fill in the fuel...I guess when the bar starts blinking ? right ???

                              Please help me guys.

Please go through the aargee's FAQ will get the idea when to fillup the fuel. And blinking is the last stage which is generally not recomended. And fuel is always measured when the bike is straight . So 3bar is correct reading not the 2nd bar in your case. Hope it is clear.
                                I respect the threat.
