Oh Shoots!!! So you experience with every ride then? If you can replicate this issue every time you ride (pattern formation) then take it to your ASC ASAP & demonstrate the issue.Originally posted by Rony View PostHappening from yesterday

OK ... Will observe till Saturday and if the symptom persist I will take it to ASC ... But I am really apprehensive about visiting any ASC as they always introduce new issues instead of solving the old onesOriginally posted by aargee View PostOh Shoots!!! ... Do you have any idea why its sounding like that ?? .... I would also like to inform that while on my tour last weekend sometimes while changing gears I went into false neutral as I didn't change hard enough that time a very cranky noise came from the gearbox (which is expected) and the engine went into free rev ... but soon the gear was engaged and the ride was smooth as before ... Does it have anything to do with my current problem ?

Strongly agree with you...but what to do? Unless you're in Chennai, TVM, BLR or EKM, can't help you much. Sit with them, refuse to move out, that's the best way. Leave the bike Friday evening itself so that they open up on Saturday upon the engine cools. That way they don't make excuses.Originally posted by Rony View PostBut I am really apprehensive about visiting any ASC as they always introduce new issues instead of solving the old ones
No...I don't want to scare youOriginally posted by Rony View PostDo you have any idea why its sounding like that ??
The false gears (often + consistent appearance) was found in my original engine. There's rarely any false gear after the engine was replaced. If there's any, then it's out of casual & lazy gear shift (feather touch) & can't be replicated often.Originally posted by Rony View PostI would also like to inform...it have anything to do with my current problem ?
But...don't think these are applicable to you; visit your ASC & see what the issue is. Sometimes, it just disappears with simple oil change.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

last weekend did a short one day trip to the western ghats and back.
mysore > kushalnagar > somwarpet > mallalli falls > pushpagiri > madikeri > mysore
distance covered - 320km ,tyres performed well in wet weather too. And now i'm hooked to do trips to such scenic places.
Please help me out on these:
I was constantly stopping to take pics and bit of exercise and never felt tired. However while returning to mysore at about 240km, I started to get pain in my upper arm which gradually progressed to my neck area. I did stop every 30-40 km to rotate/pull/stretch my arms for 10-15 mins regularly.
My positioning is relaxed and my hands are soft on the handles with arms bend comfortably at elbow and I don't fall/look aggressive on the handles either.
What could be the case ?.

I've my experience with Sapphire Honda, JP Nagar only. They are pretty good at servicing. The best part is that they allow the customer to go to the bay and see the work being done and speak to the mechanic. The mechanic over there is very polite and a knowledgeable person. Most of the guys who have been to Sapphire have a very good review about them.Originally posted by aargee View PostGuys - Bangalore Bikers - Pls provide your feedback with ASC; would like to update the ASC review post - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/857319-post.html
There are couple of other ASC also about whom I've heard good reviews. They include Haiku Honda (Domlur), Ananda Honda (Bommanahalli) etc. Other Bangaloreans can add it.Sudeep P Nambiar

I second Sudeep. I have given my bike for servicing only in Saphire Honda, JP Nagar. The servicing is very good just coz of the particular mechanic named ZeeshanOriginally posted by sudeepnbr View PostI've my experience with Sapphire Honda, JP Nagar only. . He's one knowledgeable and sincere in his job. Till date there was no need to take back to the SVC for any complaint for the job which they have done. But nowadays Bglr is crowded with too many CBR's(we crossed 300 members in Bglr CBR250R club in FB
) so that they do the work which we pinpoint's
. For that reason we can't blame them coz of huge rush...

Hi everyone!
Till date, I've seen only grey/red/black and tri-colored CBRs on road in Bangalore (and Chennai earlier). But, today on my way back home from office, I saw a white CBR 250R.
Since when did India get white CBRs?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

The one I'm talking about was fully white. I mean, just swap the change parts from a red CBR to white.Originally posted by samarth14feb View PostTrial colour (while -blue, white orange) for 250r was launched in India while 150r was launched.

And if it were a paint job(most probably so), then I must say - job very well done!
Here's the pic. Excuse the pic quality (it started raining, hence I was in a hurry)
