What details you need? Contigo is not as bad as what people portray; its is good tire; just concentrate on riding skills than street racing & you'll stick to Conti's for rest of your life I've been using Conti rear for over 17440 Kms before switching to next Conti & 12K to switch to MRF.

The only issue I see with Conti is MANUFACTURING DEFECT; if you find one, then get in touch with the tire dealer to get it replaced under warranty & keep searching for defect every week or so. Mostly they're huge cut marks. I rode about 5890 Km with that cut marks on the tire & it didn't give up.

If you ride like there's no tomorrow, even Battleax isn't sufficient!!!

After that it has been a smooth ride.

Rocker, a sincere request don't pollute the thread. Unfortunately that's what you are doing to all threads where ever you have commented. Administrators please take note. This is a ownership thread and not a Comparo thread and all positive comments are welcome but not *****ing at personal level.

Let's share experiences and ideas to make mobiking a pleasure and not challenge each other or each others credentials and knowledge.

I dont know him personally but I must say you are wrong in saying he possess a lot of entertainment value..cuz his post count has reached over 8k because it provides AUTHENTIC details and facts...which has helped a lot of people like me. And if u think he is paid by honda..please go have a look at his posts...Totally unbiased..always tells about the pros and cons.I guess u need to go into details before posting such a thing.

            • After 24K kms changed my front tyre to PSD 110/70/17. Had a 700kms run with it. The performance is really good as well as the grip on both wet and dry tarmac. Changed the suspension setting to stage 4 before riding from Bglr-Thrissur(470kms one side). Stage 3 is the best of both worlds, even though stage 4 is more confidence inspiring but not apt for long distance(say 150-200+kms). It will break your back into pieces.

As mentioned by techfreak you are polluting every thread in which you have posted. You might have much greater knowledge than others so please try to share them in proper manners and proper threads. Please share your positive inputs about cbr 250r here if you have any.You can refrain from buying a bike which doesn't suit your needs. We here the cbr owner's have found cbr suitable for our needs and share knwoledge for better ownership experience of fellow owners. If you think ninja or duke suits your need go buy.No one have forced you to buy cbr and no one asked you how the bike is.You have polluted the duke thread now you are here.I guess lack of eductaion did this to you.

                  This happened last weekend between a customer & Pilot Honda Mumbai;

PH : Good evening, Pilot Honda
CS : (Provides a short intro in English); I need a chain slider replacement & can I bring it to service tomorrow?
PH : (Brays something in Hindi)
CS : Can you speak in English please?
PH : Mujhe English nahi aatha
CS : Can I speak to your manager please?
PH : Ji, manager abhi bahar gayae hue hain
CS : (Wondering how she replies exactly to all the questions in English)
and after some exchanges the phone is transferred to manager
CS : Need slider replacement for CBR 250R
PH : Tell your name, vehicle number, color
CS : (provides all of them)
PH : I'm giving it to my service person who'll note down all the details
PH : (once again the same girl takes), sir, aapka vehicle number, color our naam bathayie
CS : (frustrated & gives it for second time)
PH : Achcha, aap bike Tuesday service center ko laana
CS : WTH!!! I'm leaving Mumbai tomorrow, how can I bring it on Tuesday

PH : Achcha teak hai sir, kal he laana

Next day, trying to locate the service center & gives a call from the road side
CS : Aapka showroom kidhar hai, batha sakthe ho? Bike service ke liye aa raha hoon our main abhi Mulund Fire station ke saamne khada hoon
PH : Aap ek kaam keejiye, ek auto pakadkar idhar aayiye, bolna ki Mulund telephone exchange ke paas lekhe jaana
CS : (Frustrated) Tho bike ko kya karon? Raste mein chodkar auto mein aaon kya?
                  PH :
CS : Aap rasta batayie, main bike chodne ke liye aa raha hoon, isliye auto wato pakadna mushkil hain
PH : (then directs the way to about 200 meters before the showroom)

Lol; that's nothing; I've seen even worse attitude at Waves Honda Udaipur; finally the manager apologized for their attitude, that's different story

There're Guru's here in our own xBhp forum who're silent spectators who've done this feat in less than a year. I'm very very sure DK or kurtrules (damn sure about him) has done this more than this number in much lesser time & I'm nothing compared to their numbers. I'm actually feeling that I'm bragging
