A recap about tyre pressures. Front is 29 psi and rear is 29 (single) and 33 psi (pillion). Correct me if I am wrong here...

I have seen my bike lose on an average of 4 to 5 psi every 20 odd days. Perfect rim integrity here. I believe this is normal in a hot environment so my applied solution is to top up the air at these intervals.

I am now planning to deflate the tyres completely, polish the mounting surfaces on the rims and smoothen those on the tyres and then check.

    • Went to rajindra honda showroom today. Got the rim tapes and seat covers installed. Rim tapes are of original honda brand and had the similar package like all the honda spares. I forgot to note the part number. It was for 287/- only and the seat cover was for just 200 bucks... The fitting of seat covers is average and the quality of the material is also ok.

        • hey guys
          forgot to say

few days back when it came back to delhi, i had to tow it to my home cos of some reasons
i felt vibrations in the foot pegs, handle bar etc
when i tried applying brakes front and rear, a different type of vibration started creeping in

what could be the possibility ?
i guess some alignment problem or alloy problem............

even when the brakes were not applied, many a times i felt vibration in rear footpegs, front handle baar
what could be the problem ?

Honda has released the 2013 CBR 250R outside India. Looking at the site, the only update seems to be color scheme and black exhaust shield - which we can retrofit on ours current model

                  1. Good color choices. hope they will come to india
2.It seem that honda got rid off conti-go(which was not going so well ) and would introduce IRC Road winner Rx-01 radials.

i have the red+silver 250r but i really wish these colors were present when i bought .. would have gone for the white one

                    • Considering the looks i would be replacing the fibre parts and tank. Would not be very pricey i hope looking at the current price they quote for replacements...

                        • the radial tyres and paintjobs are for the overseas market for now. I dont think HMSI would get rid of Conti-Go for India.
                          Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

It is something you cannot really help. So don't be jealous but think otherwise. You can get this paintjob done.

I second you. I don't think these new colors would make it to India before next year year.

                              • Great to see they introduce black silencer heat shield for 2013 model, if this available here as a spare, I'm going to change ASAP.

BLack alloy looks good too. The best one is Black -> White ->Repsol ->Red

But only all Red not so good looking anymore (Kinda Red Zmr I feel),Red is best in dual color IMHO.
