Congrats, Conti is never a match to PSD and keep us posted if any info regarding the PSD rear

BLACK is the only good colour. Other colors sucks. Buy only black. Jokes apart. Whatever the colour is welcome to the CBR family...

Thanks for your opinion regarding the color, but I sorted it out for the red itself.....somewhat wasn't so sure when I saw the black when it was parked next to a red one for delivery, but all said, its just my personal opinion, and besides till now I have owned all black bikes itself (Pulsar 180 classic, Pulsar 220-DTSFi) and hence decided to go for a different color this time.....

      • Has anyone observed air leak with their alloy wheels? If so, what was the solution you guys adopted?

Message to Mods - Just like you removed those crappy comment, is it possible to reset their crappy ratings too? It simply doesn't justify the contents of this thread versus personal vengeance against one person & hence the request.

            1. No one knows what's sealant or bead sealer...esp the HMSI ASC
            2. Our wheels are alloys, not chance to rust & there by letting out air

Bro, found this info. on wiki-

Alloy wheels are prone to Galvanic Corrosion, which can cause the tires to leak air if appropriate preventive measures are not taken. Also, alloy wheels are more difficult to repair than steel wheels when bent, but their higher price usually makes repairs cheaper than replacement.

              • horn issue

hey guys i am facing the new issue regarding the horn. When ever i press my clutch my horn doesnt work and when i release the clutch it takes 2 to 3 attempts for coming the sound . I observed this today morning while riding with the parking lights on . When i switched of that then it was all normal . Any idea what could be the reason ? Or a simple battery recharge will cure this problem ?

No @Aman nothing offensive for me. I like black doesn't mean I don't like other colours, infact I like many other colours than black JUST FOR SOMETIME only. After a certain period I used to get bored for other colours, but black remains from start to end with the same love FOR ME. But maintenance is too high for black

Can't exactly say.. mine usually fluctuates a lot when it comes to one or two lines.. when bike is put to side stand it tends to show lesser fuel. I guess its pretty normal.

                      • bike's been home for a week now post the block+piston replacement.

                        What i Noticed:
                        1) Bike feels and sounds just like it did back in OCt when i was handed over the keys for the very first time.
                        2) I sometimes get a feel that the chain is rubbing the swingarm but when i stopped and noticed it doesnt appear to be touching at all.
                        3) When revving in neutral the bike gives off the assuring loud "thump" like it did in the bike's first month of ownership. Eventually that thump will die down for some unknown reason!
                        4) Had that gearbox issue i had mentioned a while ago(the whole accelerator revving up itself while the bike is in gear and moving at high speeds) but i will report it once i get my "first service" done which is in essential my third service!
                        5) While they were working on my front fork assembly, they had tied my bike and hung it onto the ceiling with a thick/rough rope(the ones they use to pull water off the well) with the rear tyre sitting on the paddock stand
Are all fork assembly jobs done this way? Is there no other means of support for the bike for this job?
                        6) Bike is smooth. No rattle noises so far. Clutch freeplay adjustment doesnt last more than 3 weeks for some odd reason. The freeplay just keeps increasing by the day. Anyone else with this issue?

paint chipping all over the block. ASC decided to replace free of cost. Total bill for the whole replacement+coolant+engine oil+wash+fork oil hose assembly = 215 bucks!
                            No typo there

                            • update on the horn problem

As posted earlier yesterday morning about the horn problem.
I noticed that when i ride my bike for quiet long time the horn doesnt work but when i just start the bike after 5min rest everything seems to be ok . Is anyone facing this issue ?

i did sometime back....turned out it was a small dent on the rim of the wheel. it caused air leak as well as a lil woblly feeling when bike was tilted during corners.
i had two options.....either get the dent repaired from an alloy wheel shop or get the wheel replaced. didn't trust non-honda mechanics, so went in for the second option.....its not covered under warranty, but was covered by insurance......new front wheel costs about 4k for std non abs model, which is mine....the one for abs model is different, dont know if it costs same or higher.....had to order in advance. wheel was delivered in about 2 weeks.....guys at asc did a good job, i was there all the time. fully satisfied with the new wheel
