Not mine; I'd ridden in super duper rains during last Sep, sometimes as much as 2-3 hours continuously; nothing happened.Originally posted by Nithesh View PostAnybody else experiencing headlight glass fogging up in the monsoon ?
If your fairings or headlamps have been opened up for some reason by ASC, I'm sure they've screwed the stock engineering.
Note - I find this thread turning into junk these days with lots of one liners & people unwilling to search & posts like spotting a CBR somewhere. What has that got to with ownership experience? Guys, kindly post your relevant experience & not sightings!!!Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Avidz, like said recently, non CBR trained mechanics or noobs are bound to make the excellence of the stock engineering and fitting, redundant. Try and get it done by someone with experience or a superbike mechanic. My funda is that if i cant learn to do it, then its not time for me to do it yet. Of course i'm a little paranoid with things, if left to me i'd stay at the ASC just to see CBRs being repaired or serviced.Originally posted by Avidz View PostInstallation ....??? I recently had a small accident. Many parts of the fairing are getting replaced. I had opted for the 100% claim Insurance policy during the purchase, so am getting everything replaced for free. The insurance company denies to pay the labor charges. After having a talk with the accident supervisor in the insurance company, He told me that the company generally pays a certain percentage of the labor charges but in my case as I've given my bike in Venetian Honda they wont pay any labor charges. When I asked them the reason, he said that the labor charges or the labor quality in Venetian Honda is very high so they dont pay any amount for the labor. I asked if I had given the bike in some other service centre would they pay for it? He told a certain percentage would be paid in other service centers except Venetian
I dont get the logic here. Do insurance companies generally pay for any labor charges? I would be glad to get some help on this issue
Thanks

dude does the CBR has room to accomoate these in the pilot lamp housing.
2 PCS Car T10 Pure White 68 SMD LED Auto Light Bulb DC 12 | eBay this is 68 SMD..
if 68 is big for the housing... then i'd got for the 28 SMD

still mixed reports...

don't get 68 smd its big for cbr pilot housing.
i have also got the big pilot light like small projecter and i find it defficult to put it there in pilot housing and it was touching the plastic from inside.
i will suggest u to get 10 smd led bulb for cbr. its easy to install and looks same as 68 smd or 28 smd not much diffrence.
between have you got your gray plastic part carbon fibered wid 3m tape ?
i was wating for your pic
its easy you can do it yourself. just find that pilot bulb holder wid your hand and turn it and take the stock parking bulb out and put new one in and then 1st check it then put it back there and if its not working then try to put bulb in opp direction .Originally posted by Avidz View PostInstallation ....??? Guys,
My post service trauma continues. Got to ride my bike yesterday properly after first service. There's a churning sound coming from the chain although it was lubed during the service. Can it be due to too much slack?
My handle feels stiffer than before. And there's a 'trrr trrr' sound from the engine. Well not exactly like trrr but like some nut is loose and is vibrating n rotating on its axis ( difficult to explain the sound ). Gonna visit the ASC tomorrow to sort these issue , although i am skeptical. Who knows i come back with more issue!!
You are a senior member. I request you to seek clarification before being judgmental about someone or calling them junk posts. I just bought a CBR couple of weeks back and it came with yellow pilot lamps. I am concerned t about my bike being from the older lot as i had specifically mentioned against it to the dealer. I wanted to cross check the owner's claim. Called up the dealer to find out but they also seem to be lost on this. Hope that's enough clarification for my post not to be rated as "junk".Originally posted by aargee View Post
