Have some patience and go to that SVC which is being advised by ICEMANG, you will get the job done accurately. Moreover your are damaging (if there exists a problem) the engine by saving an X amount of time per day.

How come you are still servicing there even after being given poor service in the first place is itself a big question to me. This post is directed to GT007 only.

Wheel stripes can be done in local sticker shops.

Eshan buddy , i got a call back from them because i had called up their MD and bought these issues to his notice that's why i went back to them. A new guy was present there who claimed he is was an expert CBR mechanic. I have posted the conversation i had with him. I guess they aren't worth giving a second chance!!!

                Perfecto, see we told you.
Also CBR is a bike which is different and work on it doesnt go if the engineer has chalta hai saab attitude. Its a bike which requires special attention and knowledge of the engineer. A layman cant set a Tatra Tank Bridge over two edges, can he? same logic.

All the best and have patience, everything will be okay in regards to the bike.

                • CBR 250R issues

Hello Guys new to this forum so dont know how to multiquote.

                  Anyways addressing to @GT007 and @Rony @bambi
                  My bike updates first

Completed 550km in a week as of now
                  No Issues observed.

                  The issue for me:-

                  1) There are vibrations that is footpeg vibrations in RPM range below 3500.
                  2) where I feel like two parts are rubbing togather and one is pulling the
                  other in opposite direction.
                  3) while accelerating in dense traffic from lower RPM say 3000 to 5000
RPM there are vibrations where RVM starts to vibrate but there is no
rattle from fairing which i think is due to improper gear selection
                  and clutch use
. (Edit:- there was no lugging though)
                  4) Also if you guys have felt your palms numb due to vibrations please
specify whether that happened during riding on Highways which was
free from traffic or if there was dense traffic and heavy braking
involved. this has happened to me in dense bumper to bumper traffic.

I might not know your issues but I hope that the bike is OK just might be due to Rider Input error. I mean if you can simulate the problems happening at multiple times on same RPM etc then it must be bike issue but if that is not the case then we should look into our riding technique.

Edit:- what was surpising was many of my friends who Own a first lot CBR and other OEM bikes
never felt anything that I felt about these vibrations below 3500 RPM when they test drove my bike not that they are Noobs but when i asked them they never felt it even when i made them aware of
                  it.

PS:- my personal experience of owning a HONDA beforehand, is if you keep on observing issues right from DAY 1 then it unsettles your mind and makes you unhappy and never gets resolved. lets be positive lets say wait for the service period. I used complain a lot about my Honda Unicorn and nothing used to be resolved like many here but now I have learnt that the problems I used to face even the best of mechanics could not solve it and this used to disturb me a lot even when I used to call Service Engg at night and complain.
Yes I know about the premium we pay for bikes that we own but we dont have any option here do we, lets say Yamaha has better quality but in my city the guys crib about the service even from YFS so do others bike OEM. Complain only if you have major Issue

So my request to CBR brotherhood will be lets just keep ourselves positive if there is any major Issue like Shims/Tyre Imbalance/Rusting can be trapped in an XLS sheet where the problem should be noticed and should be designated against your name and contact number and if the problem is not resolved for say 2 months then we can send the consolidated sheet to HONDA and the we can demand justice.

                  Cheers

                  • hands going numb

Rode 350kms today... And i noticed one thing while riding ... My hands were not numb till 275kms+ in dry weather but after that it started to rain heavily and my hands were numb within 20mins... Key point here is my hands were very wet as water entered inside my gloves... Maybe hands going numb for few people over here is because of it not because of Shims...

the rvm's vibrations are common. had these initially and even now though no vibs in the fairing.. thats praticularly due to the long stem of the RVM and also tighten the nut using allen key and most of it should go away..
