    Yes I agree
But there are vibrations when I am riding from 3000-5000 RPM which disaapers once i cross 4500 RPM.
Edit:- my point of view is a single cylinder counter balanced engine has these charecteristics where you will experience some vibes at certain RPM range.

    New Update
My friend just came to meet me and some bozo who was trying for reverse on his Omni pushed my bike off its side stand luckily my friends R15 was besides my bike and touchwood nothing happened almost got into fistcuts with that guy now the grab rail is scratched a bit.
The Irony is the R15 heat shield was almost dented while no scratches on the fairing bits as of now.

    Important lesson learned :-
never park your bike when a ****ing four wheelers rear is facing your bike.

    Cheers

They are not normal. I havent experienced any RVM vibration at any rpm in any gear whatsoever once i got them tightened at the ASc after they fell off while i was riding. If its vibrating then it will surely fall off in the longrun so get it tightened with an allen key

It isnt rocket science to multiquote. You just click on the + sign next to quote button for all the posts you need to reply to except for the last post where u have to click on "Quote" instead of + so you can get to the reply screen where all the quotes you selected will be seperated respectively.

If the shims are damaged from the starting itself then it will be replaced within the warranty...
The SHIMS were fine earlier,, but after 7k kms the sound is coming,,,, Will it be replaced under warranty??? Nd also at 4-5krpm when accelerating hard there is a sound of Valve train!!!

it happens when water seeps into the lock.
apply some oil (any oil, engine oil, gear oil, even coconut oil will suffice) on the key & also the mouth of the steering lock.

                      • Just realised simple dentist tools are ideal for our finned carbs that takes so much muck from the front wheel back spray. The worst, I found was dung... Yeah cow dung imagine, that stuff gets in the fins and it literally burns with smoke. There's no completely avoiding dung in India, no chance, so a healthy set of teeth for my bike is essential
Just making sure to be gentle with the fins.

                        • ABS model now only available on order (Delhi/NCR)

                          Hi all,
I had posted a while back - was looking to buy a CBR 250R ABS but had a bad pre-sales experience with one of the dealer in Delhi so was looking at some of the other dealers.. Had made a booking for ABS red about a month back by paying Rs. 5000 but the dealer said Honda has not been sending any ABS models lately..

As of now, the status for CBR 250R ABS is this (atleast in Delhi / Noida) - No dealer has an ABS model ready for delivery in any color. Also, at least two dealers have confirmed that all ABS models are now available only on 'order' - which means that you will have to pay significantly more amount than the Rs. 5000 booking amount (e.g. Rs. 50,000/-) as deposit to order one from dealer and it's non-refundable in the sense that you cannot go and say that you no longer want it and want to cancel it...

Is it a similar situation in other cities?? The non-ABS models are available almost immediately...

Been thinking on putting the deposit on the tricolor ABS soon - but am slightly skeptical reading about all the problems people have been facing here - especially the issue with shims related vibrations and engine rattle.. Is it really so much of problem or am I just being paranoid ??

after launching tri colour honda has improved a lot in quality .
now days there are not any problem in shims.
i have cbr from starting lot and its just fine completed 1 year last month .
the only problem i found was enging rattle sometimes but will get it checked on next service .
