the only problem i found was enging rattle sometimes but will get it checked on next service .
if there is any problem in bike then you don't need to worry about it you will get it changed under wrranty.
Thanks for the feedback Rahul.. I too have heard that quality has improved since tri-color, but still see a few shim related issues being reported even on newer bikes in this thread and hence the confusion..

And as for getting things rectified under warranty - from what I read here, looks like taking the CBR to service station creates more problems and issues than solving it

By the way, since you are from Delhi, can you please share where did you buy your bike from and your feedback about where you get it serviced from and the quality of servic there ?

there are still very less CBR's on road and in Delhi you rarely find more than 1 CBR's at honda dealerships tooo,.,.,(except for the big one's)
it could be your timing of going out. When I go to office from west delhi to Noida, there is hardly any day I don't see a CBR250 on the road. One is almost certain, the max i've seen is maybe 4-5
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

        • Speedo repaired COSTLY JOB

          Hi guys,

I had written about my speedo issue.

A rat had chewed the cable right at the surface of the sensor so there was no possibility of an insulation tape jugaad and the sensor had to be replaced.

Very costly part -it cost me Rs 2950. And this for a part made in India. Sad.

Punjab Honda, Rajkot excused me the labour charges as I had already taken a big hit for no fault of mine. @#$%&* rat...

The speedo is okay again, thank God

          • Workshop Service Manual

I hope this is not a double posting. It relates to a different topic so I am posting it as a separate one. Mods, please rectify if I have violated policy.

I am attaching the link to the CBR's workshop service manual. I hope it helps us all in our combat with the ASC's.

            Regards,

            Maneesh

Just making sure to be gentle with the fins.

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.

It was not that far on the map.

                  • Sorry Maneesh, figured out why I could not see it first
Now, opened it, saw it but looks like it contains Parts list, part number only. Is this a service manual?

I seem to be better at this CBR diagnosis than the so called "experts" at the ASC themselves
