No, the PSDs are not stock. ContiGos are given as stock.
Sudeep would be really happy if you post a review of the Sports demon under various conditions. Having a hard time with Contigo

asked same question from subeep bro but i only asked for normal roads and wet roads and his reply was It's brilliant on normal roads as well as on wet roads. Very sticky

even i am having hard time wid contigo getting PSD soon for my cbr.
between i have used PSD 140/70 r17 on my r15 and it was really gud in perfomance on every types of roads.
one thing noticed in PSD when u press rear brake in cbr it skids and makes sound that mostly every tyre do but in PSD you will not get that sound when u will try to press brake hard or try to skid its silent.

I've ridden the CBR with PSD for around 1000 kms now and I can say that it has performed brilliant in all sort of conditions. I too was having a hard time with the Contigo, and after changing to PSD, I feel its completely worth.
It is very sticky on all kind of roads. I rode in rain and wet roads for almost 60 kms continuously last weekend and I never had any problem at all, even when leaning on wet roads.
Only downside would be the life of the tyre as it a soft compound. I'm said that it wouldn't last more than 8k-10k kms.
But the confidence it inspires while riding is awesome. So I would definitely recommend PSD.

I might even use that for advertising the CBR if I was a Honda employee.

The 5th pic looks like Jadoo from Koi Mil Gaya and not any bike

in all awsome photography. Personally I feel the CBR is pretty photogenic

How i wish people removed that big grille aka saree guard before photoshoots

I like the 4th pic but the saree guard took the seriousness away a bit

MRP is around 3.3k-3.5k... But its very difficult to get it. And those who have it, are selling it in the range of 3.5k-5k.

i have used it in mid 2010. just used it in r15 for 1 week then burnouts and again new tyre at that time i almost got 7-8 tyres in 2-3 month all were of diffrent company but PSD was really gud.

PSD is the only model name of it. its full form Pirelli Sports Demon.

                          • Brake pads will last a good 10k provided they don't steal them for an worn put one.. Trust me, experienced once with my unicorn.. Had hardly run 300 km on new pads and after service at showroom they said pads are out... I was like wtf.. After some arguments with service manager he said for now he will replace mine with some accident bikes pads for free. (basically my own stolen pads were returned) in Mysore they even exchange good tyres with semi worn or ones, battery thefts etc etc etc. while servicing I make it a point to stay along my cbr.. Honda is great but most servicing people are not.

                            • Hi all,
I have booked CBR 250 STD initially. But yesterday I have changed it to ABS version. Now I am in confusion whether I went with correct option or not. When I booked STD version, I had a thought of putting PSD tyres. Though Now I have changed my booking to ABS as most peoples suggested, But still now I am in confusion. And extra 30K for ABS looks expensive to me.
                              Option 1. NON-ABS + PSD
                              Option 2. ABS + Conti
If I buy ABS version, then ABS + PSD is impossible for me atleast for one year. I know the importance of ABS in wet and slippery condition, But tell me which option will make more sense. Please suggest me something guys.
