  • The stock headlamps on the CBR are adequate.
I have the Philips Extreme Vision 55/60 on my CBR, which in my personal opinion, is anyday better than the stock headlamp in all aspects.
Contrary to Aargee, I felt 'both high and low beam' were better on Philips Xtreme Vision.

          • How long is this warranty exactly Till the free services get over ? I will be paying for all the charges after 12000 kms anyway! Little confused about this warranty system!

I overlooked; for free services, YES, you're bang right. But what has warranty got to do with free service Both are independent.

Its very easy if u know how to remove the right side fairing ... its very tough if u do it without fairing ...

Its there in your service manual !

                      • The 2 yrs warranty period is applicable on suspensions, exhaust rusting, speedometer, switches and obviously engine related issues/seizure.
AFAIK, the 5 year extended warranty is only for the engine.Correct me if i am wrong

                          • Well the point was I was confused between the warranty (vehicle claims) and the servicing part! Well seems like modding voids the service and the entire vehicle claims!

                            • Got my CBR in the evening
Went for a small ride of 60km and noticed a few things i would need clarity on..
                              1. I am maintaining a range of 3.8k to 4.2k rpm. But, I am getting a lot of vibration in the handlebar - hands went numb. Is this normal for the CBR ?

                              2. Saw a pink pipe hanging below near the stand. Since it was dark i couldn't investigate properly. What is it and why is it hanging like that

Before run in vibrations are there in CBR but nothing like making your fingers going numb, get it checked IMMIDIATELY.
Hope u r not lugging the engine......

The pink pipe hanging is the crank case breather, nothing to worry
                                Just keep it clean.
