From the console area yes? IF so yes its a known issue. Ive spent 3 months trying to sort it out.
Asked the mech to remove all fairings and tighten them which only worked for like the first 15 kms i rode away from the ASC.
Then came back two weeks later and asked them to sort it out. Told them its from the console area and i even told them that the glass on the speedo must be loose and to check it. I dont know what they did in there but the problem was fixed for a week or two and then it came back.
Decided to ignore it for a very long time and was successful. If you put ur helmet's visor down you probably wont even hear it.

But now after second service and running a few kms its totally gone(or maybe its just that all the avoiding has finally helped my brain Unregister that sound) I dont hear it at all.


Btw, has anyone heard this odd sound from the exhaust everytime you're idling, and just giving in a little twist of the throttle( say 3-4k rpm) in neutral and you hear a different note from the exhaust?
It sounds like the exhaust is firing bullets. it goes "ducck ducck ducck ducck". for one moment i actually thought it sounded like a yoshimura slip on!

even i am using blue parking bulb from last 8-9 months.

Guys one of the biggest stupid problems that many CBR owners face is the cowl not screw fastened in every place, my bike had 2 screws missing on the cowl. Trust me, there is some lack of service experience in this regard. Always make sure you inform the head technician and personally meet the guy trained for CBR250r.

Yash, take it to an ASC and yank their beards a bit. Make then check every screw, tell them you're going to insist they load it up a lift if needed. Check Cowl and faring screws. Apart from a little stiff 'engine purr', or the 'rubber on road fffrrrrr' when the bike is new, no other sound.

Friends the Service people (at the dealer end)denied my warranty on the chain and rear disc plate rust case as per direction from their regional office n head office.The serive people at dealer encouraged escalating the issue to regional office .Threatened them to drag the company to consumer forum.After that they decided to have some more discussion on the matter to see what can be done "within the rules".Wrote a fiery mail to the product in-charge in the head office.Awaiting for the results.

One thing these people in the HMSI lack courtesy.They dont pick up phones that easily (gurgaon office never connects),Eastern region office connects only after 11 am.Even a mail from the HMSI website on the first day has no reply yet.These people should be taken to task.Seriously!!

how is it funny? is it because i said "put it down"? instead of "close"? the noise he was referring to is very faint in the first place. If ur helmet is able to reduce the wind noise inside, then the chances of you hearing that sound is minimal too.

Anybody else experiencing headlight glass fogging up in the monsoon ?

Happened with me once. Ride for sometime with your headlight on and it will go away. I think may be this issue is mentioned in the manual also.
