Congratulations to you too. Try to put up a summary kind of thing on your one year of ownership. It might help several people as you're one of the first buyers.Originally posted by Mail2vasant View PostSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

My Jezebel
Finally got my Jezebel's seat foamed 2 weeks ago and the in-city riding experience has improved a lot. Its 600km and my body is slowly getting used to the seating position although the wrist pain is still there. Enjoying my city commutes more than ever. I will soon take her out for touring to unleash her true potential !

This is how she looks after getting the seat foamed !

My apologies for not being explicit.Originally posted by Chandru Raj View PostI recently did 155kph in my Ceeber and I very clearly remember I shifted from 5th to 6th at 116, So I was nowhere close to the rev limiter when I did it. I don think you need to push it to the rev limiter unless you want to reach there quite fast but IMO that puts a lot of stress on your engine right? I had no trouble pulling the engine from 116 to 155, it was smooth and I believe I had some more throttle left provided I was not close to the rev limiter at 6th gear.
Between I did not have a proper look at the rpm meter when I was doing 155kays. Any idea what could be the RPM at 6 th gear?
You dont need to hit rev limiter in all gears to cross 150 but in order to reach the top speed you definitely need to reach rev limiter in 5th.
Hitting rev limiter is not bad or good, its just how I ride. Honda put rev limiter @11.5K after proper testing so it is safe to hit rev limiter.
In 6th the bike does not pull as much as in other gears, so if you are after top speed, you might try this and then let us all know if it makes any difference in the final reading.
Hope it clarifies.
Regards
Piyush

Argee unfair looks like yo are the leader bhayya, he has clocked 13k whille you 22k, i think you may be the one who has munched maximum miles with the Ceeber in this forum

I have a doubt, only if the tyre is damaged (say has a crack) it can be replaced rite? Or anytime before warranty period?Originally posted by aargee View PostTwo standard methods...
1. Take to dealer, they talk with the Conti in the locality/city & get it replaced, that may or may not come with a small additional price depending upon the dealer
2. Take the contact of Conti from the Honda dealer, ask the dealer to remove the tire, take to Conti dealer, they inspect the tire & ask you to pay on pro rata basis of wear & tear; bring the new tire to ASC for fitment.
Lol!!! I knew it, that's why I asked for the pic

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.
It was not that far on the map.

That's basically what it is
Met the Continental Guy here in Mumbai yesterday. Told me to send him the tyre. Will speak to the service centre about this. But apparently there is a shortage of Conti-Go in Mumbai and it seems like it isn't available here :S

110% NO; read Beuroist's post; he's clocked more than 25K now. Anyway, I'm not in for competitionOriginally posted by Chandru Raj View Posthe has clocked 13k whille you 22k, i think you may be the one who has munched maximum miles with the Ceeber in this forum
I ride to ride & not to munch miles
Bargain...Bargain...Bargain!!! It might not cross more than 3K; I did the mistake of trusting one shop. But Srivaastav here in Chennai got an excellent deal, just because he inquired at multiple shops. When you bargain, ensure that, free fitting is included in that price.Originally posted by siddhesh View Postmumbai an is priced rm 3200-4000 range
If Conti is not available, check for Dunlop; members say Dunlop is good too.
Damn, need to update one of the FAQ with the tires now!!!
Good price, but still, inquire at different places before you buy one.Originally posted by kimshine View PostIn Delhi one Tyre shop owner quoted me around 2400 for conti go
Guys, whoever is hunting on tires, appreciate if you can post the price of tires that you inquire along with dealership & free/paid fitting charges in your respective city. This will help several members/non-members who're looking for tire replacement. Tks. Post #8200 is already being updated with tire prices in Chennai & Barmer, so other cities are most welcome.Last edited by aargee; 05-11-2012, 10:10 AM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Have you tried MPL Honda? I got my tri color in 2daysOriginally posted by MADCATR View PostAargee: Even in Chennai, the ABS version seems to have a one month min waiting time. Even if I am willing pay cash and pick they said it will take a month to deliver. Do you know any dealer who can deliver in a week in Chennai? I am looking for the black...

I called up at least 4 Honda delaers here in Delhi/Noida - All of them seem to have the tricolor ready but are asking for 15-20 days of waiting for Red ABS even for full cash-down payment. Reading other's posts, it looks like the situation is same in most other cities as well...Originally posted by prithviq8 View PostHave you tried MPL Honda? I got my tri color in 2days

And this problem seems to have surfaced only after introduction of tricolor - they say that Honda is mostly sending Tricolor in new shipments while red has to be specifically ordered. Either that is true, or else, the dealers want to clear the Tricolor stock they already have...
End result - I have no idea where to buy it from and when will I get it

try calling the dealers in gurgaon / faridabad. they might charge slightly more for registration, but they should have stock available. I posted earlier saying that the dealer in gurgaon has ready stock.Originally posted by thebiker2k2 View PostI called up at least 4 Honda delaers here in Delhi/Noida - All of them seem to have the tricolor ready but are asking for 15-20 days of waiting for Red ABS even for full cash-down payment.
