Me too. Have told the SVC innumerable times. Every time I'm told that they'll get back on this. Since I had other issues at hand, as you already know, I had stopped pestering them on this. Right now, I'm too busy clocking the kilometers that were pending since the last couple of months.

Its a FI motorcycle!!! You really don't need a lock unless you're planning to seal off the fuel tank cap!!!

I was planning on Xenos FW45 (I liked the remote unit on that better ).
I have bike security system on all my bikes. and on all of them I use for about 2 years, and then stop

Petrol Lock? Lol.... Different breeds of bike my friend. There is no ON OFF, or RES switch any more. As soon as the main indicator hits "E" you need to start looking for a pump. And as soon as it blinking E, you need to find the pump fast .

there are lot of petrol thefts in our building .. .from bikes by removing petrol pipe from petrol tank to carb.
i have never owned an FI bike before thats why i had a doubt whether a petrol lock can be fitted in FI bike. want to know what 220 FI owners do.
because there must be a petrol pipe somewhere and theives may damage something while trying to steal petrol.

                            • Prince - Remember, theft is all about doing something easy, quick & running away from the scene unless someone is on vengeance. Its easy to steal from a conventional motorcycle than from a FI. In FI, you almost don't see a tube or pipe from the tank to the FI system. Regarding the fuel cap, if it can be done on yours, its much easier to do it on any other motorcycles.

So just relax, go tomorrow & book your bike; expecting to see you happily munching miles

Well, Petrol was stolen from my bike, Twice !!!
But dont worry, on the new bike, There is a fuel pump inside the tank that supplies fuel to the injector. However all of this mechanism has to be under the fairing, so nothing to worry about.. Besides, if the theives are ready to remove you fairing, then fuel is least of your worries.

How about putting a bike security? Costs 1k - 1.5k. Peace of mind.
