      Did it atleast have the standard elbow, shoulder and back protectors? The jacket I mean.

        I think it comes with some elbow and shoulder protectors but not C.E rated ones.. not sure if there is some kind of protection for back..

          Though I could not check the certification since I was in hurry but yes, the jacket had elbow & shoulder guard along with back protectors. I guess it will be quite useful in the upcoming summers in Delhi.

            oh that should be great cause in that case we can clean it ...no need to dispose it like a paper element filter.......i have the same type in my 2004 dio & 2010 activa belonging to a friend of mine had paper element type air filter in it...... means Honda is reverting back to viscous type filter.

                    AJ: Same scenario here. Apparently they're planning to ship only after the Budget is presented!!! I'm not sure if there'll be price difference after budget:O

                    BTW, remember those early pics of the Tricolor which had some silver on it. Apparently, that's fully gone. Its really white, red and blue now. Saw a pic - I really liked it!

                    Also BTW, the formal name of the tricolor is "Pearl Heron Blue triple tone color". Per HMSI, the ex-factory cost of this color is only INR 1000 more, which is why the reports said INR 1500 on road.

                          This is quite bad. Budget will be tabled only on March 16th. Looks like the bike will be launched only by march end then.
                          Looks like saphire honda has overcharged me.

                          In any case, I do not understand the reason why they need to wait for the union budget.

                            As per this article, 2012 CBR250R will receive an ECU Remap to improve the engine response. I wonder what is it gonna be, since this is the first time this is being said for 2012 model.

                            And the good news is that new map will be installed even on the current crop of CBR's. However I really doubt if it is going to be anything significant.

                              Called up Haiku honda yesterday for Information regarding the 2012 CBR250R.They also told that the Bikes would start shipping 20th march onwards.So the above piece of Information looks correct.

                              AFAIK,there are no changes other than the color scheme and the viscous type filter.Looks like we need to wait another month before the bike arrives and we can make sure if there is any significant improvement in quality.

                                Ecu remap?if true,most probably like what yamaha did for r15 v2.cbr USA site shows no difference between 2011 and 2012 models.still something would be better than nothing of course.
                                if anything at all,what I wish really for is that honda reduce the weight of this bike.really. .its front heavy.even a bullet 350 feels lighter.
