  • +1......get a parking cover for ur bike...at least it will keep the bike away from the prying eyes........i managed to get a enfield bullet cover free from the dealer(dont ask how)...& found it was a tight fit....got it slightly modified from a cushion maker for Rs 150.....now i always ensure that when the bike is in parking ..the parking cover is put...have seen kids fiddle around with bike if cover is not put.................other day a guest of adjacent flat owner parked his brand new R15 in the common parking...when i saw kids fiddling with the bike.....i shooed them away and asked the owner to park his bike next to mine...........i have also come across some grown ups playing cricket & hitting the ball on to others vehicles..even after repeated request they continue to play.....one such guy recently said he was sorry for not having lend an ear to my request...the funny thing is this apology came after his new car arrived in the parking lot...........so atlast that ba.......rd realised.....how he used to hit cricket ball at others vehicle...& now suddenly he became a good guy when he realised his a.. is at stake.

    • congrats buddy.........tell them in advance no rust or scratch marks should be there on the bike..............my friends red bike had arrived at night ...was bought from the sub dealer....next morning the bike was returned to the same sub dealer because of the above issues..eventually the same bike was returned to him after 4 days after rectifying all the issues.

Guys has anyone of u ever felt tht ninja owners being arrogant and very pitying in nature?..i mean i met a few ninja guys and they think the CBR is shit.....i cant help tht...so im hoping this whole upgrade thing works!!

Dude you got to love your bike.
        Atleast most of us do.
For whatever reasons we bought it (cost, looks, service etc) I guess CBR is delivering on all of them. As far as Ninja owners are considered, they look down on CBR because jealousy is another form of appreciation. So don't bother about anyone. I personally believe that you should not modify your bike so that others say its cool, rather if you find it better in terms of looks/ performance etc.
I know what my bike can do and what it cant. So if you know your limits and your bikes, you should be pretty much happy with CBR.
Atleast I am happy with mine and totally in love with her. Totalled close to 7K and touched upto 159.

        Regards

PS:I might also line up for the ECU remap but that does not mean i am doing it to prove to anyone else.

        • @Prince,
You're taking too much of tension man! Just chill. Go ahead and book your baby CBR.
I don't think there is even one person here who has installed/fitted any kind of lock to prevent petrol theft.

IMO, Only thing you can do to it is, to park your bike in a safe place.
          All the best for tomorrow.

          • Piyush - 100% inline with all your say; you ride for yourself & not for others; nothing is perfect & speed isn't everything. Whenever I hear the word speed, I remember the dialogue of Nicholas Cage in the movie Gone in Sixty seconds...

Control, vision, determination, These are the three fundamentals of the new generation racecar driver, speed is a by product

Is that what your ASC said or your assumption? Have they tried a master cylinder from a different CBR & tried to confirm? BTW, STD or ABS?

If it is standard, then check if you have managed to get air into the brake fluids.
If you have the ABS version, you will need to check the ABS unit, and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the sensor rings.

Std unit brakes are very simple.. There is not a lot that can go wrong

yeah ,,i'm also confused ,,we have checked while filling Disc Oil ,, air was going fine

it seems like some how cylinder stops making pressure and then brakes or disc does not make contact ,,
                    I dont know

My gut feeling is that, you may not even have the issue in first place; STD certainly lacks the great feeling for a sharp disc brake. You'll need to combine the braking with the engine, if you need better result; atleast, this is my observation for over 2-3 months now.
