yes there are 3 colors available but not the silver one. They have phased out silver color which you have also said in the previous post.

            • Guys what is Viscous OIL FILTER ? and how it's different then the one in our bikes ?

              • Viscous oil filter is made of oil wetted polyurethane foam element ,the main advantage with these type of filters is that they can be cleaned & reused where as a conventional paper element(the one we have in our bikes at present) is made of pleated paper (paper which has the ability to trap dust particles of very small size i.e in microns without much restriction to airflow)...however their biggest dis-advantage is that they cannot be cleaned & will have to be replaced once the filter becomes dirty.
There are many performance air filters available in the market like K&N,pipercross,BMC,Green filters etc..................these filters are either cotton based or foam based, any way all of them proclaim that they offer more air flow as compared to the OEM air filters but they are quite expensive in comparison.

FW40 costed me around Rs.1100 incl installation. This was at a Xenos authorized center. The wires were not cut, it was 'plugged' with a adapter (the same kind of plugs/adapters used in cars and other automobiles) without requirement of any ugly tapes. This was done in a very satisfactory manner.

If you do plan to get this done, insist on getting a inline fuse installed as the existing models from xenos dont come with one.

My question is, What happen to those poor silver owner if they crash, if they going to get any spare from HMSI in future ? and how long ?

IMHO....Silver is the only color looks sophisticated.

Plenty of Middle age guy asked me/checking my ride whenever I take by bike out (Specially White ZMR owners).

A very bad move by HMSI, Many of us who want Full black color settled for silver for its looks like one big (continues) structure.
