Hiya folks, Noob here with my First post

I recently sold my 2007 Thunderbird SS and decided to pay over the entire proceeeds as down payment for CBR 250 R.

I'm relatively new to Bangalore. Waited to test ride the Baby Duke before finalizing. Did that last week and decided to go for the CEEBEEARR. Duke 200 is a sweet and exotic ride, but the Honda just felt right for me.

Once I started reading this thread, I realized that there were many knowledgeable senior members from Bangalore who could help me.

    Thanks in advance.

    • Bangalore Dealers...

      Hi,

      Congrats on your decision

According to CBR owners from BLR, 'Sapphire Honda -JP Nagar' is the best. They provide the best After Sale Service and the mechanic there is the best CBR guy in BLR.

I got my baby from City Honda, Kalyan nagar and things have been fine till date

      • Thanx

Thank you, Gokul. Though it means I've to cross silk board, I'd meant to go there next. Thanks again for the validation.

2 bolts needs to be removed under the front headlight section. Piece of cake.

I have been there. The staff is courteous and they readily obliged a test drive. However, they gave me some crappy inner roads, where you have no opportunity to explore the machine. All I know now is that it will be good in City conditions. I really wanted to explore it on the JP Nagar road. Oh well, I guess they will let me when I make the down payment :P

+1 for Sapphire. I cant vouch for the sales experience as i got mine from Haiku Honda, but can certainly recommend the after sales service there from first hand experience.

btw, I work pretty close to HSR layout(Old igate campus)and if you want to take a test ride on my bike on the more open roads around agara lake you are most welcome.

just dont crash up!! If you do, I get the brand new CBR that you are gonna buy

Yo Duiz, now there's a thought. If your bike's neat and been properly run in, but has not clocked over 1200 klicks, I'll exchange with you in a snap! That way, you can keep it under 5K for another 1000 klicks and I can start ripping NOW 10K, here I come

Srsly, could you PM me your phone#? I'd like to know how your ownership experience has been till now.

                  Best

Thanks Do the bolts have to be removed completely or just loosened?

My baby's from the first batch (May 2011), so definitely run-in is done.
Cant help you with the 1200 klicks though.
Just crossed 8600km on the odo today, so thats a decent headstart on your target of 10K
                        Still Interested??

will PM u my ph # now.

Remove them completely. They dont hold anything else so no harm. As far as the number plate holder is concerned -- "This happens only in India"
