Ofcourse, use less gear shifts, less clutch & less brakes, you'll experience more life on brake pads/shoes, cable, lever, piston at brake lever, long life on clutch plates, less wear & tear & all the more better FE.

When you engage the clutch during gears (high or low) there's no sync between the gears & front sprocket. Which means, the engine goes to lower RPM (remember that when you depress the clutch, the throttle also is closed). compared to the wheel (don't assume engine RPM = wheel's RPM though; just call it sync'd)

When you engage back the clutch, the part that gets most of the beating is crankshaft as it is at the receiving end due to the syncs; when you brake without the clutch, you're still syncing the speeds of the engine, gears & wheels altogether so no part takes the brunt. Hope you got it.

No need to ask for sorry though

To get this in real the bike need to drive slowly (assuming if it is city commute), plus the bike can be save from unwanted accident/fall/damage.

White lamps are commonly called as HIDs (guess xenon & HIDs are same). It is a wise thing to fit HID in a projector lamp. Reason? HIDs are very bright have a larger spread than normal lamps that we get. This results in blinding effect for oncoming traffic and consequences can be deadly. Projectors are used to limit the spread of light and focus it on desired portion (of road) in form of beam. Avoids blinding effect and more light to illuminate road.

Previously, HIDs had only one lamp and so they ran on Hi beam only. So, in order to introduce Hi & Low beam, a cut off was used in projector lamps to cut half of the Hi beam resulting in low beam. This is purely a mechanical setup. BUT NOWAdays we get bi-xenons (has separate Hi & Low lamps) which eliminates the need of cut off.

Angel eye is just an add on to the projector lamp.

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

Well not really Neel; yes with a bumper to bumper or peak hour traffic, but, on a medium (say after peak hour traffic), one can still ride at good speeds, but the key is to remain focused, anticipate every disaster from every possible way, stay cautious & concentrate on riding.

I don't mind shipping it to you, but did you think about the price of the chain lube + import cost? The product by itself costs around Rs 500 (on higher side, which is 845 Taka) & add to that the import cost. Are you prepared to shell out this much?

                        • existing CBR 250 owners, please tell me the difference between non-ABS and ABS version- in terms of braking power, bite, locking tendency etc. how are the brakes of non-ABS version as compared to -- say- ninja 250 or pulsar 220, since both these bikes also run at similar speeds say- 100-130 kmph comfortable and does not have ABS.

i would like to have as many views as possible.

does any non-ABS version owner have ever faced any difficulty due to brakes.?

I, having ridden both the versions, can tell you that the non-ABS feels comparatively spongy. And why not, given the fact that the ABS version has a 3-pot calliper at the front as against the 2-pot Bybre in the Std. And I'm not even taking the safety of ABS into account.

However, cannot compare with the Ninja or 220 as I haven't had too much of braking experience on either.
