As @bbsrailfan asked. Have same question in mind. Are your transporting your Bike to Delhi then start the ride from there ?
@bbsrailfan.. You suppose to change your silver parts of the bikes. And now I can see that your parts are all red. Could you post some full pictures of your Bike. Along with a side picture including exhaust.

the holder is pretty awesome.. and those 2 lights have made the lil ceeber into a baddass tourmaster...
amazing mod bro.. these light running off seperate batteries or the motorcycle's battery ?
in addition to the holder i would like to add to add a vinyl wrap on the visor/windsheild. this will block outer light and always give you clear visibility on the screen and also save battery..

bro 8 of us are going for the trip... transportation details below..

8 of us going...

1 CBR - mine
1 ninja 250 black
1 ninja 250 green/hero impulse (riding 2 up)
1 ktm 200
1 ktm 390
1 zma r

now all the bike are getting transported to Mandi (himachal pradesh- 100 km before manali) from hyderabad
only bike going in train is zma-r

6 of them are taking flight to delhi on 21st and take bus for mandi and pickup bike on 22nd morning/afternoon
2 of us taking train as we booked tickets late. so we start on 20th night. reach delhi 21st night-take the zma
and ride to mandi - 400km 2up and pick up my bike from mandi and ride to manali and join the gang. so 22nd night all of us in manali

23 take rest.. stroll around..party
24th we start for keylong...

now the zma guy is still in half mind.. so either way if he comes we ride to mandi and pick my bike
else i take a bus to mandi from delhi and pick my bike and start to ride..

whatever happens this trip has to happen

hypheni - There you go, bro! Unfortunately, don't have a pic of the exhaust, using the matte black exhaust shield from the 2013 CBR.

Thanks Bro, Glad U liked Those lights are hotwired to the motorcycle's pilot lamps. The lights have their own individual switches, so you have the option of running one LED, both LEDs or none (Only pilots). One of the LEDs is angled slightly lower to serve as a fog/low beam and won't blind oncoming traffic, while the second is angled higher for a distant throw.

my bad... they are going my GATI courier as friends riding this time have used it before and said to be on par with railways.
also the train transport is worse to horrible and will cost nothing short of 5k up n down.. while GATI will cost a little more
but less hassle of packing and getting it on the train etc etc...

i would like to see a close up of the LED's and the switch. i am getting my LED bulb soon for headlight replacement..
yes you read it right.. moving from Osram NB to LED H4.. that too 3600 lumens.. 3x the rated output of Osram NB and will fit on stock mount...

runs over just 20w.. and amazing white light.. so finally i shelved my plans for projector+hid setup as that included lots of work and huge money for a quality setup...

Bhai, not to dishearten you or something, but to be honest, the Lumen output of LEDs is vastly overrated by manufacturers. I am using the same 20W LEDs and they are, at best, marginally brighter than the Nightbreakers, I'd say they are 2800- 3000 lumens, whereas the manufacturer claims 4800 lumen. The Nightbreaker returned an output of 2300 lumens. All above values are measured using a crude light meter app on my phone.

Secondly, there is a MAJOR trade-offs to using LED H4s - they don't have a 'dipped' beam (as in, they have a fixed beam compared to a normal H4, which changes the focal point of the light in the reflector, causing the beam to 'dip'). Hence, the low beam is achieved only be dimming the LED marginally, which still shines onto oncoming traffic.

That's why I opted for Aux LEDs instead of using them as a primary light source. Will share the pics shortly. Hope that bit of information would be useful.

@..bbsrailfan So now you own a full Red CBR i.e. 2014 model without black rims and few mods that have been added to 2014 model.

@..theironhorse99 I'm also planning to change my stock Headlight. Do let me know which LED H4 you are planning, possibly with a link.

i agree with you on this one 10000 % however knowing all of this and the LED's theoretical output and practical out and 6 months of watching and checking
i landed onto something that has proper LOW & HIGH beam . no dimming of bulb/element/led.. 100% stock replacement of H4 bulb.
20w low beam 30w high beam , 18 months warranty and already used and raved reviews by 100's of members...

also the low and high beam works seperately.. go through the 45 pages and trust me you'd like it..
low beam works with 2 Led's each 1300 odd lumen and high beam will have 3 led's as well turned on 3000 + lumen nd proper high+low beam pattern

Yep, though there is a slight mismatch between the 2011 and the 2013 shades of red, its not very apparent. Some difference can be noticed in real life, but in pics, no difference is felt. Not really a fan of black alloys, so the alloys will remain silver

For pilots lights, there are a zillion varieties of LEDs. Opt for one of those 15-SMD or 28-SMD leds which will offer 360-degree lighting.

i will be getting the same hand carried by friend or someone.. there is always some one travelling every now and then for 59$ . they might give additional discounts as per the conversation. i am registered member in ADVrider...

this is legit and darn good...

as per the LED's and exhaustive research the local 5/10/20/28 SMD LED's available locally are hardly 1 watts and have output nothing more than 100 lumens.
what i have now are 20 SMD LED with hardly 150 lumen output. i have reordered 28 SMD COB LED's from dx.com which has rated output of 400-500 lumens and will be far brighter than my current pilots.

the shipment is already in india and will be in my hand in a day or so...

regarding the H4 bulb. it will come only after my trip but will post the complete review asap i get it...

Hmmm I dont have that luxury. Paid an obscene amount of shipping charge for my Xena disc lock

BTW regarding the Pilots from DX...are you referring to these??? (pic below) Coz I am looking to switch to something more reliable after having a bad experience with these LEDs. These have a very pathetic build quality, and used with our pothole riddled roads, these have a lifespan of hardly 6-7 months, after which, they start blinking randomly as their internal wiring comes loose. Not really worth 400-500 INR that they cost.

this is 10w each .. taking 1 watt led = 100 lumen output in general i am expecting atleast 500 real lumens out of it.. which will be almost 5 times brighter than my current pilots..

also my local led's are running for 2 years now and not even a single one of them failed..not even a flicker... working as they did the first time they lit-up..
even if they fail.. no hard feelings. i had no expectations from led pair of 100-200 bucks.. just that the itch for get brighter and brighter keeps returning every now and then
but with the stock housing and no mods/minimal mods.....

Same Here the local LEDs I bought here for 100 bucks a pair are working perfectly fine, though they are lot dimmer. Wasted almost 4K in trying out different varieties of COB and SMD LEDs, but nothing seems to strike the perfect balance of brightness and reliability. Reliable=Dull. Bright=Low Life.

How much Xena cost you incl shipping ? Is it durable ? What is the battery life ?

You gotta be kidding me. Xena's the best! One year done and battery still good. Not a sign of rust even after one full monsoon beating. The price is the painful part...12k incl shipping
