maybe a rubber washer if needed.. try for smaller bulb based ones . with led ones you need to find a 3 pin degital relay too else you'd get those fast blinks...

You can also use indicators of FZ/R15. They are relatively small, have rubber base and won't break off easily.

      Ride safe and have fun.

Thinking of some serious mods to the rear indicators. They are protruding out too much I guess.
22 months and counting , the indicators didn't break even once apart from a fall. Even after the fall the indicaor was bent and not broken.

Even better, get an integrated unit....bit on the higher side, but you are free from broken indicators forever...

however if it was a constant light for over 4-5 seconds you should get it checked once before you fry up anything..
Thank you theironhorse99 yes it did enjoy the rains, the bike did not jerk at all nor was the light constant, will visit SVC soon.

Today when I started from office for returning, CBR started normally and a few seconds later it went off. Only one Fuel bar was left and the blinking was just started after the ignition. After three times repeated fail it started on fourth time. And the moment bike starts moving Fuel bar stops blinking.

In last one year I had never faced such issues. On ODO it has only 5200kms
and its due for 3rd servicing. What could be the possible reason?

might be low fuel pressure due to less gasoline. but highely unlikely.
random shut down are more common.
i have had this issue once but then never happened again. might be just one random case.
keep monitoring it. if it happens again can be the case of clogged fuel filter or injector nossle
                        giving it start up issues..

last fuel bar blinking and then getting stable it pretty normal. the fuel meter reading changes when the bike is upright to when the bike is tilted and it generally takes a minute or so to stabilize to actuals when fuel is less in tank.

hmm.. Will monitor carefully. Apart from this shall I insist svc guy to clean fuel filter and other things on the 3rd service. Does it cover under free servicing? But I think most of the service people won't give it a much priority as the situation happened only once.

i would say negative on that. as a lot of smal parts work in harmony even in the fueling system . unless its a prominent issue and happening regularly i would say no.
besides the fuel line there can be many other reasons like spark plug cable loose, battery , loose wiring.. also all these bikes have auto choke. can be one of the reasons
and isolating it will take time but dont make any changes as of now.. if the frequency is like 3-4 times a week then take a call..
