And hopefully my front handle bar wobble(which is there from the very beginning, and svc is pointing it to the tyres) will be sorted out with 2 MRF tyres.

I too have wobble at similar speeds, but its converted to vibrations in handle bar above that speeds. So for rides exceeding 2 hrs my hands will feel a little numbness.

those vibes are due to loose fairing hinges inside which are replaceables as with time those plastic locks get loose.
also dry chain. check these both.

I meant the wobble which starts aroubd 67 Kmph, and the as the speed raises the intensity is increased and once the speed is over 80 the wobble is felt as vibrations.

The chain requires lubing right now(and also an adjustment) but the vibration at handle bar is not better even when is chain is adequately lubed.

I am hoping to get the coneset checked/lubed/replaced if my tyre change is not resolving this issue.

First get the issues inspected and not only the conset, but also the front fork alignment as well as the rims.

Check for the wheel alignment as well.

Once you find the culprit, only then go ahead with changing things.

            Cheers,

Insurance work on the bike took about 2 weeks, replaced left-side fairing and the left tank side cowl. Cost about 2400 including service charges for 20K Kms servicing, with Honda Throttle and oil filter and some other minor works.

Now, its been a month almost since I last rode the bike, and today when I got the CBR back, it felt a little awkward, at first, riding it. Feels like I lost the feel and the confidence in my riding.

                Hey guys

Just some food for thought - my Tricolor ABS 250R is June 2015 manufactured. They've probably just reduced the vehicles churned out owing to low volumes.

The good thing is, now my bike is unique on the road. In the past week that I've had my bike and have ridden around Bangalore ( random places, work and back ), I've seen a ridiculous number of Dukes ( both 200s and 390s ), a single CBR150R and no CBR250Rs at all. Which is frankly surprising, considering I saw far more Harleys ( a regular lives somewhere on the way to work ).

Makes me really glad I didn't buy the Duke.

Also, for reference, I got my bike instantly ( as in, a day to process registration ) without booking it in the first place.

Haha. It's just the airport road and the ORR to and from work.

I had gone to Electronic city before work yesterday, saw three HDs on my entire route. Didn't know people took them to work. But then again, the CBR still elicits stares from a lot of people ( maybe it's because of the paint job ) in the city ( as opposed to my village Jakkur )

                      Hello brothers,

Need some input. Today early morning went for a small ride with only 1 bar at the fuel gauge. But that was not blinking. So I am sure that the bike was not in reserve.

I touched 137kmph and then after that it was hiccuping, struggling to go past that even when fully crouched.

Then came home, I was waiting at the signal, as soon as the lights went green. I started then a big hiccup as if there was no petrol in the bike. Got shit scared, switched off the bike and took it to nearest petrol pump on foot. Filled her to the brim and then there were no hiccups.

Any chances of fuel pump playing foul here considering there was less fuel..? I repeat again there was one bar and that too it was not blinking. So it pretty much had 4 to 4.5 liters

Fuel pump.is priming all the time when used kill switch. I suppose even if it is gone kaput it will prime.

Engine oil level is the same when the bike was serviced, no drop in the oil level.

                      Inputs please.

                      Cheers,
                      Sanjay

My bike is not pulling to any sides and the handlebar is starting to wobble only after 67 kmph, before that speed nothing seems to be an issue.

Bro, there is no harm is getting the alignment check. I would prefer all the checks and then replacing things.

Because if you replace the conset and the problem reappears again then you will be sad of loosing 3500-4000rs on entire conset.

If conset was cheap, you would have gone ahead and replaced it. Since a bit more money is involved. First get the checks done.

When my handle was wobbling, I asked the svc to check for fork alignment as well as the bearings in conset.

Fork alignment was all ok, but there was some problem with the conset, hence I was happy to know the root cause and then pay for the same.

                              Cheers,

Things like coneset will be replaced in warranty right? And I was under the impression that all things are checked as I was raising this issues for my every visit to ASC.

And yes there is no harm done in checking all the relevant things once again, just for my understanding I have raised this question.
