I found this very late. It is supposed to be around 1.5l if i'm not wrong. Though the bike is smooth now compared during the break-in period. But still i find the first two gears with hard clanking sound and occasional false neutral. Is it advisable to do a complete oil and filter replacement after 1k km from my first service?? And investing in Motul 300v a better idea? or just Honda's 10W30 FS oil would suffice? Thanks in advance.
After THREE services you can shift to Motul 7100 or 5100.
300V is meant for engines round 400cc.

Ride for some distance with the headlight ON in daylight. All the water vapor should escape from the dome.
Later use an adhesive available at the SVC over the crease to seal the gaps.

It has a blue filter. The leds in the console is white. The filter gives the blue shade.

Aargee is running on MRFs and shv18 is running his CBR on michelin. Now both users has praise for the respective brands. I find the MRFs to be more value for money when compared to michelin. If you are not a cornering junkie and prefer sane riding, MRF are far more better and ahead than crappy contigos.

The only difference I see is the radial tech on pilot street radial which will have a tad bit longer life than pilot sporty.

Coming to 66H and 66P, it denotes the speed index tyres with index rating of H can take upto 200 km/hr whereas with P upto 120 km/hr ( courtsey : google)

Coolant has to be changed every 2 years and topped up whenever the level is low. You need to check the owners manual on how to check coolant level. If the bike is 2 years old. Get the coolant replaced.

Regarding chain making noise, get the slack adjusted. Also check for worn out sprockets.

For front tyre, MRF Revz FC 110/70 will be the best deal.

The ownership thread is open to you buddy, tonnes of knowledge. Patiently read it out and plenty of your unanswered questions will be answered, plus get in touch with kolkata xbhpians who owns a similar machine.

I'm a regular street/long distance/public road user; I don't care about performance when riding on the road; I only have to stay safe on road & the tire that I use has to be VALUE FOR MONEY; this means, it should not let me down + give a long life + should not cost more. From that aspect, MRF does scores better. I've no say on Michelin, because I haven't used it; people say its good etc; but I prefer a long life over that 'extra' grip & MRF does that very well; its been more than 25000+ Km now & I'll have to change it soon, for my use, Michelin CANNOT give this kind of life.

One is RADIAL & other is BIAS PLY; pls check shv18's post where @psr sir has pictured the difference. If you still don't get that, please come back with specifics & I'll try & answer them.

Pls check if the chain is lubed adequate & within the limit of free play; if you still experience noise, chain does make noise; if you expect absolute silence, then you'll have to opt for belt or shaft.

Can you share the model/type of the MRFs that you are using?

I have done 19895Kms on the Contigo and looking to change the tyres ASAP as they have worn out badly. Was thinking of going with the Michelins, but considering the price, I want to go ahead with the MRFs.

i am using CEAT xoom at rear and MRF at front and its really not good a combo..

front soft radial tubeless and rear hard compound ply bias tubeless.

in ideal scenario the front patch contact patch should be equal or lesser than rear however this is opposite as rear is more rounded and hard while front is flatter and soft. works fine on dry hwoever strict no no for wet usage and can led you into unwanted issues. i am still working on a few.

Okay, and thanks for the update on the combo, as I had an idea to replace the current set of conti go's with MRF/CEAT combination in a month or two.

And hopefully my front handle bar wobble(which is there from the very beginning, and svc is pointing it to the tyres) will be sorted out with 2 MRF tyres.
