      1. Drain the fuel completely to the last drop right away
      2. Fill in fresh fuel, preferably bought from good fuel station using a 2-3 litre can
      3. At earliest, take to ASC
      4. Ask them to clean the tank & fuel filter

Might be useful to people in Chennai; There's a place called tyrzrus near the padi flyover and I just went there to get the bike washed, thanks to the load of grime collected in these intermittent showers of Chennai. I was surprised to find that they also have a complete polish, scratch removal and wax package as well, cost 700 total. The bike was first thoroughly washed, with a cardboard piece protecting the radiator of course, n then polished and waxed. The guys spent 3 hours on the bike. The end result, the CBR came out looking like the day she came out of the showroom! The customer service they provide is also above par with other workshops/water service shops, and they have competent equipment too. I'm not advertising for these guys, but I came out with a wide big smile! All the products used were from 3M and they did not hesitate to answer any question, no matter how stupid it sounded, and they let me examine all the products that they used on the bike.

They use proper buffing machines, and have separate heads for polishing and waxing. They also have an automated tyre balancer(apologies if I sound retarded, I don't know the technical name), the water pressure equipment has a pressure gauge, and can be modulated when high or low pressure is required. They also have a kind of spray gun that dispenses soap. Hope that helps? The best part is the employees there, they actually take time to explain and execute, rather than just having their own way. My water washing experience is limited, I either wash the vehicle on my own, or give it to a water service shop (I had a bullet back then, the cbr was always washed by me, by hand.) if time was a constraint. But i never came across any water service shop that actually practiced customer service. But hey, it's just my experience though!

Guys. Any idea how much the front suspension tube cost? I mean the inner tube . Mine is scratched heavily. So the fork oil is leaking everywhere.

I think the entire fork costs about 6k. Not sure. I don't think Yu would get the inner tube alone, I think it comes as a set. Or you could try asking the mechanic im your ASC if there's any souped up part from other vehicles that might still be usable.

Can you confirm me whether the automated tyre balancer you have mentioned is used for balancing two wheeler tyres??

Good to know there's something that take cares of your bike properly but 3 hours is long time but we can spend that time in nearby shopping malls.

if the battery is not charging and bike is 2+ years old then first

get the battery checked . if the battery is good and giving 12+ volts when completely charged then rush to the SVC to get the rest of the items checked.
it can be the statot coil else a bad rectifier . can be as small as a fuse or worn/cut wire.

Hey buddy, yeah the place is good to get my bike washed! 3 hours is a long time, but given the attention to detail that they emphasize and adhere to, it's totally worth it. The GPS mount is a RAM mount, it's a photo of my cousin's 250. You can check it out here

                              • Need HELP

Friday was riding my CBR250 to office , and half way suddenly got Kat-Kat-Kat noise from Engine and bike dead , stopped roadside and after 10 min , tried to start again using starter but again engine makes Kat-Kat-Kat noise and didn;t start , tried couple of time still no success , finally parked nearby shop and went to office, afternoon again came back and tried again , now same noise and no start.
went to nearby petrol pump and brought Engine oil [as checked there was very low Engine oil] poured 1 ltr and after half an hour tried to start , again same noise from engine and didn't start. finally took it to SVC by towing the bike in mini vehicle.

now the bike in SVC and there there are gonna check tomorrow what is the issue [they have some training so no man power to check].

Battery is new and works perfectly , not sure what will be the issue and not sure how much it will cost to repair. from past 20 days some Tappet noise was there and thought of getting it to SVC but couldn't due to work.

                                any idea or suggestions ?

this incident lil embarrassing as i owned GT250R for 2 years and never had to Tow it to SVC and whenever i have some problems the SVC guys were very quick and helpful
