No mate! many of us have bought our tankpads from planetDSG for our "CBRs" and they fit perfectly....mine was named (kawasaki black) but it fit wonderfully to my CBR black (and dont worry,"kawasaki" wasnt written on the tankpad)
U can check out "hifisharu" 's tankpad, his is from planetDSG, n if u want,i can upload mine too for your convinience!

Well, my bike is also as dirty as yours (2nd pic) after the rain.
Haven't got the chance to clean it.

Wax it well. That way, it will attract less dust & will also be easy to clean. Had sent an email to 3M asking about PPF for bikes and got the below reply.
"Hi,
We are still doing some trials on the PPF and we are expecting it to launch within 2 or 3 months, will keep you updated on the same.
