Yes. Those mirror nuts started rusting very soon..Originally posted by johnjojo08 View PostAny body facing rusting issues in your CBR. My CBR's mirror nuts have started rusting after riding through the rain.
Also we need to buy and keep an allenkey for the mirror holders.. They became loose in middle of my journey ruining my ride..
@amlan: sad to know about the incident mate.. Post a pic of it if possible and we may come up with some juggad for it till you actually get the OG footrest..
How about fz or r15 footrests??You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

Thanks bhai! That's a Scoyco JK27 Jacket.Originally posted by Ceeber View PostBahuth Achha photos hai btw whats the jacket you are wearing sudeep?
I never wanted to keep the Saree guard. It was just that we went for the Photoshoot immediately after the delivery. So forgot to remove it.Originally posted by Ceeber View PostSudeep The bike looks way better(mature) without the Saree guard, Any reasons why you are not giving up your barbecue grill?

looking at magnified images of the footrests of various bikes, i think all the footrests are nearly the same!!
No problem,i'll go and try out every brand (bajaj,Yamaha TVS and HH) tomorrow! they are all very close to my house
(within a km)
the farthest from my house is the HONDA showroom which is nearly 1.5 kms away from my home~

Tested ABS on a completely wet road.
Guys, It was raining while coming back from work today, 3.30 am, empty roads flooded with water, Somehow felt it is a good time to test the ABS realtime braking abilities so reached 70 kmph and slammed the brakes. I had a fear of the bike loosing control but still did it. First attempt it was a horror!! I could feel both the brakes engaging and dis engaging thingy going on very quick and I couldnt realise the fact that this is how abs behaves though I drove many miles on an ABS equipped car. then after a second, did couple more tries and it worked like a charm!! Even on wet surfaces there was no issue at all.
Trust me guys, ABS is worth the money you paid for it, though a lil over priced, It can save your lives at times. Will test ride an apache RTR ABS to see how effective it is and to compare both CBR's ABS and an RTR's ABS.M800 - 2001 - 5787.Nano 2011 - 5086.Figo 2011 - 518.P220 - 2010 - 5995.CBR 250R - 2011 - 250.sigpic

I'm really confused with that PM & that's why I'm taking time to understandOriginally posted by darkknight View Postaargee please reply to my pm .office is so hectic that am unable to juggle too many things
For the PPF? TksOriginally posted by darkknight View Postwill get in touch again & let you know for sure
I'd rather switch to mineral or semi-synthetic at the initial stages. But still Rs 504 per litre is damn good deal, that too for fully synthetic.Originally posted by MeTaL_MaNiaC View PostThe oil is Rs.504/litre
PS - Shell Helix Ultra 10W-30 costs about Rs 1040 per litre. This was the price sometimes during last quarter of 2010
AmlanR_CBR - There're 2 options...
1. Get the pieces welded nicely & buff them using an angle grinder & paint. This is exactly what they do in the factory too. Trust me, it works out cheaper too. This is quickest option for now.
2. Order Tyga performance parts through DK. I'm sure it will be
PS - So far there's no sister reported in the community to have bought C250R

About removing the saree guard
Dear owners, please answer my following question on removing the saree guard.
I have seen bikes without saree guard but if you look under the seat cowl, the bolt holes that previosuly held the saree guard are still hanging below. Can this be got ridden of? Is this metal strip welded to the frame under the seat or bolted to it which can be removed? I want to have the seat cowl look clean without these bolt holes.
Please see below pictures for your clarity.

I guess they're welded to frame firmly & can't be removed. Your only option is to cut them out; which IMHO, is not worth.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

What I've done is, after removing the saree guard, I've put back the nut and bolt back into the screw hole. It looks much better than leaving it open.Originally posted by shivaprasad.ms View PostDear owners, please answer my following question on removing the saree guard.
