i hope they dont kill my battery

        anyways,ZMRMOD, what abt the wiring??

no they wont as they are friendly with you fromlong time

only 1 wire from battery abt 1m will go down and occupy one of 3 pin relay then the sock horn wire will b able to occupy other pins ....
        mechanic knows well
        good luck

With no intention to urge you to buy CBR, just trying to put you in a perspective:
                  1. CBR is a competitor to Ninja at over a lakh lesser price.
                  2. CBR being the latest 250CC is only 50000/- more than the 3 years old 150CC R15.
                  3. R15 exists JUST FOR THE TRACK and really a great machine there and from my expereince not as practical and comfortable for daily commuting/touring as CBR. It lacks low end power needed to cut through traffic and more so when riding with pillion. It needs lot of gear shifts.
                  4. In my experience with R15 on Bangalore city roads, I could taste every small dent on the road and the super light R15 popped up over humps like pop-corn transferring the shocks, totally with no loss, to my body. Have had painful sleeps in the nights following day's commuting on R15. Just sharing my personal experience. CBR being heavy and its suspension being super soft are extremely good in absorbing road bumps.

                  5. Now, finally, as they say though 150CC R15 is expensive it is worth every rupee, the same can be said about the CBR. CBR costing 50000/- more than R15 is only natural to its bigger and more modern engine and design.

Give it a good thought and take a wise call.

they said that its not possible to just send one piece so i'll have to wait till the bulk spares arrive.
I said that it 'll take a lot of tym and my CBR wud be unusuable till then..he then said although the procedure says that the dealer should contact us and place an "emergency order" to get a part this way, yet we will keep ur details and your oders and try our best to send a footrest to your dealer and let you know soon!!

Once again i asked abt the oil filter and he said that its gonna take another 15-20 days..so i said by then i wud have completed 2000kms on my odo! n he said that sir u change ur oil as soon as u can and filter will be replaced when it is available....

i said that HMSI,delhi had told me to wait till 1200 and change the filter and oil together. but he said that filter has no connection to ur oil..a dirty filter can only reduce ur perfomance but a non-capable oil can simply kill your engine!!!

So who shud i agree with? HMSI,delhi or HMSI kol (i have done 929 kms yet)
dude!..try checking for oil change in some international forums as well...since CBR 250 is one of the flagship model...it was already launched long long back in Canada and other places...

for the foot peg...if you have any friends in other places like bangalore and delhi etc...you can check with them if they can buy and courier it to you...

Luckily nothing happened to the fairing. Does anyone knows what will be the approximate price of the new indicator.I have heard that indicators are being shared in some of the honda's models ,Is it true ?
Its the same unit found on the HH Hunk

                      • Yesterday I took my bike to Castrol Bike Point near my house for just Water Wash as it was very dirty after the rain. (I'm yet to do the wax polishing after that as I've not bought the stuffs yet).
But when I went there, I got a VIP kinda treatment.
The manager immediately came up to me and gave me his visiting card. He asked me to sit there, and then started explaining me the different types of service they provide (Basic, Gold, blah blah). Then he showed me the rack over there which had various Castrol Oils kept and he even started suggesting that a particular grade oil will suit my bike. Not sure if he knows the model/name of my bike.
While the guy was washing, I asked him, how much do they charge for the water wash. He said, "Aur sabhi bike ka to 70 lete hein, aapke bike ka pata nahi" (they charge 70 for all other bikes, not sure about your bike). I had never visited a Castrol Bike Point before. I didn't knew that they make a bill for Water Wash also. They charged 70 bucks for me also which was okay.

No, the 16th Main Rd. Straight road from Udupi Garden and almost at the end of that road.
