I spoke to the Service Manager over here and he said they've placed an order for the Oil Filter, but not sure when it will be sent from Honda.
He said, he had contacted the officials at Honda and they've instructed him to do all the activity that's to be done in the first service except the filter change. It won't harm anything. Filter can be replaced once they get it.

Rs 99 Good MF's costs Rs 400 a piece. I've one on Rs 400 & Rs 120. Needless to say which one is superior.
Thanks for the link. After Googling "Automall Bangalore", all I could find was info about the Automobile Exhibition that happened in Bangalore.
Yes, the 3M MF comes for 99 a piece.

My knee touches the black rough plastic. So no fear of fairings getting scratched because of knees.

Yes, it should be good for daily (or between few days) normal use, so that you don't have to wash the bike, if its not very dirty.....
Exactly! That's what I'm wondering. If the bike is muddy, it would definitely require a water wash, right?

Here is the video of how to use ONR.

I hope you're the only one who went through autogeek link.
      @aargee,
I do know that ONR and shampoos are totally different segment.
I was just telling that in literal sense that, you can safely use the ONR even though your bike is extremely dirty. Just to give them confidence that they can use the ONR.
Not pointing to anybody, Some have assumptions that without shampoos you cannot get rid of dirt.

below are those i use for my bikes..

the bigger blue one in the back was got for ~300 or so..dun remember.
The small blue ones were bought from bigbazaar around 1.5 years back(again...forgot the price. )
the yellow one is 3M one. Check second image. Im not sure if its the quality of this one...or because ive used the others many times, this yellow one feels lot smoother than the others. (others are washed around 10 times i think..) Needless to say, the 3M one feels good & VFM too, will be getting few of these next time i go there

I sense something fishy here :S

should I pay? I will anyways be taking a loan.

Making a payment makes the dealer liable to deliver your bike else he is legally commiting a crime.so go ahead & be happy

          • @xxbomb - So its tiny one & no wonder it costs 90 bucks; But Tks for the info, I'll certainly buy 1 or 2 of that size which will help me to wipe mirrors everyday. But for washing, that size is highly insufficient.

I have knocking at around 4k rpm in the 5th as well as 6th at times- have a strong feeling it is purely because of engine overheating-or rather running hotter than usual-
I figured with a compression ratio of over 10:1 a higher octane will prevent detonation and it did! Im using 93 octane now and with 150km on the clock all signs of knocking have gone............

                Overall am a happy man.
why not run 20w50 oil? i always thought higher powe/revving bikes would need a thicker oil than our standard 100cc bikes. i might be wrong here though. i always ran 20w50 oil on my old 180.

guess it's best to go with the manual heh.

i like your quality of stickering but i'm not a big fan of that devil guy on the front

Oh...though my bike was knocking a bit till 200kms but after that it never knocked even a single time . I am using Normal(sadha) petrol since day 1 . Bike used to knock(used to make khud khud sound) because of my wrong Gearshifts .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

I never had knocking but at low rpms there's very unusual vibrations on the right foot rest as if the engine or the chain is grunting

mech said ,it will continue till 1000 kms are done with.

Tried on another bike & same thing was observed

Any of you facing the same.

                              • I feel, what most of us feeling knocking is not actually knocking and its "snatching". This is probably because most of the time we are keeping it under low rpms and accelerating.
I could be wrong though. Other senior knowledgeable person can shed some more lights on this.
