BTW, how many Kms did you ride as pillion?
I've been a pillion on the CBR for around 150 kms.
    1. It's not very comfortable on long ride. Posture was okay, but the butt starts paining.
    2. Didn't experience yet.
    3. It's very strong and really effective.

winds hit u hard ,but a major part is reduced by the rider!
no use of grab rail! u need to hold the rider! u should be happy if u hav girlfriend as pillion!

          • Thanks Sudeep; Appreciate ur feedback
But, I'm not happy hearing that I was really looking forward for some short trips with Wifey. Do you think its because of soft cushion? If I could replace it with a hard foam, would that be ok or is the basic problem with the posture itself? What's your take?

And then the pain subsides and/or posture becomes comfy is it?

By tucking behind the rider or is it due to the fairings and/or front cowl?

            • Just picked up a pair of Philips X-treme Power H4 60/55w... shall install it tomorrow and share my thoughts here..

Why a pair? Coz I tried multiple shops and couldn't find a place stocking the single unit blister packing..

So in case anyone's looking at getting this bulb... i have one extra

I still am looking for one. Unable to find one here in hyderabad. I so badly hate it when I have all the sprays and stuff to clean and lube my chain but there's no stand to do the lubing

Xactly the same here bro! wanna lube my chain ASAP ,but therz no stand!!

The only valid option i can see is Rjays stand which costs around 6000..but no,even though its a permanent investment and a cost for quality, i am not willing to pay rs 6,000 just for a rear stand!

the other option that remains is to get my creative juices flowing and actually go for a DIY!! (and save a few bucks in the process)

get a friend or relative & do it--what's the hassle guys?

went for monsoon ride yesterday around 200 kms & bike handled beautifully

though the tyres are a strict no in bald & moss covered stones & offroads into the mountains

@argee :yeah the steam not smoke

How did the tyres perform otherwise? I don't think any tyre is good on moss covered stones but I could be wrong!

How did the bike handle (suspension wise, tyres, anything else? :P) on not so good roads or on offroads (excluding that on moss covered stones)
