At least I've got one thing that i can do till the bike comes...
Please take a look at the You tube Video of ABBA stand in the previous post...it is much simpler to fabricate ,weld ,....and is very strong, and more portable/easily stored occupying less space.Clean right angle lines and welds..no bending required and one size fits most.....

Maybe just the conventional paddock. Even ABBA is manageable..
Well i personally feel that the conventional ones are more apt for my needs... But then let's see...

Any swing arm end will have a nut or bolt head or holed like shown...which ever way it is , a corresponding holder must be fabricated in the lathe with a strong steel rod...this is the only challenging piece of work you will ever have....
If you have protruding nuts or bolt head..then your stay adapter will have corresponding concave structure....in fact you can buy the suitable box spanner head and make an adapter of it......if it has holes then you have to have like shown in the video...a rod that will go into the hole ....This is the only tricky machining job that will be required...and any lathe guy can do it for you....

        • Go Contigo puncture

After a long 100Km ride to Pelhar with fellow xbhpians I found my rear tyres had a pucture. Took it to my regular Indian Oil Pump and fixed it. It was very strange to see glass pieces stuck in the tyre. I don't think it was due to the off roading we did in pelhar but it must have happened during my return from Thane on regular road. Uploading some pics.

          • I went to Dream Honda yesterday. They have delivered only 3 bikes as of now. My booking number is 18 - it will take atleast one more month. Non-ABS delivery will be faster than ABS.

Almost 1000 kms on the odo now! Giving it for first service tomorrow.
When I reached here, found that one of the nuts from the mirror stem is missing. And because of its movement, it has made scratches on the nearby area!! The paint have gone slightly!!!
I am happy to note that you are using CBR where it belongs (Highway) and munching miles fast.

Honda's quality control seems to have gone for a toss.

              • Guys with Red CBRs,are you facing any paint peeling off problems on your bikes? I collect from other forums that Red variant seems to be affected while the Black and Silver arent.
I am getting the bike on Tuesday. Thinking of switching to black for this very reason.

Bikes without center stand will be having an option in the swing arm to screw swing arm spools. Paddock stand will be then connected to the swing arm spools, to lift the bike.
Universal paddock stands will be having both options to lift with or without swing arm spools.

                          • Some one did mention before that a Bullet's cover is the perfect fit for our baby and it can really be bought cheaper when compared to the RJAY's ones.

The quality is better and there wont be any water sipping in. I have attached some pics clicked from all sides.
