So far so good. Clocked 400 Kms today early morning from my home to bangalore. From the moment I took delivery i could see only lots of eyes poping out where ever i go. Totally i have done 700 Kms, Planning for the first service at dream honda tomorrow. Out of 700 Kms 95% was on highway at varying speeds between 65Kmhr 80 Kmhr and triple digit speeds twice. With 8.18 litres i did initial 330Kms which translates to 39.11 KMPL which is more than enough to satisfy anyone.
Usually i used to make long distance rides with my apache and my brother's thunderbird and i should say this is totally a different experience much much great indeed. After 700KMs ride today i felt pain in the neck due to my new helmet and Back pain due to my heavy back bag in the inital ride(my mistake didnot rest it on rear seat).
The suspension is awesome, though everyone say front is too soft, i would say it is the perfect setting to cruise comfortably over broken roads at high speeds, and need not to say about rear.
As felt by most owners here engine do stammers at low speeds in high gear (I would not call it as knocking) as every other engine do. With more rides we will ourself find the ideal spot to shift and that should not be an issue anymore.
Again will make a trip to home this weekend (800Kms round trip) after the first service
. And this time little faster, bored of looking at 60s and 70s

Did 40 on the day i bought. Next day 80 and so on. Bike is very sexy. Pickup, Handling, Colour everything was awesome except THE SOUND both of exhaust and horn but still it was fine for me. 310 was on ODO and last bar on fuel meter. I topped it up just before writing this post and to my surprise only Rs600 i.e. 8.81 lts And i was like WTH

. I am damn happy.
I am just trying to keep it below 4k rpm.

My bike is here as well.
Only managed to run 31kms till now. Engine's pretty smooth though I feel it gets heated up quite quickly. My jeans are cooked in the process. Never experienced heating like this on the ZMA,even on long rides.

Talk to the SVC incharge. I had the similar kind of isuue.. My SVC incharge agreed to consider the conditions and made arrangements to save the warranty accordingly.. For records, u can get the bike serviced. Dont change the Oil filter and Oil.. just buy it and tell them you will get it changed after a few kms.. That would keep the service records clean..Originally posted by Vicky View PostBoth the Manual as well as the Service Centre says that the 1st service should be conducted within 1k kms or 1month from purchase whichever is earlier.
Now, my problem is that I'm completing 1 month on the 19th on June, but I have ONLY 237km on the odo
(Its either been burning HOT or raining incessantly.. hence mostly been using the car)
Hence, what would be the point of getting the engine oil and filter replaced with only 237kms on the odo??
Do I risk voiding the warranty if I dont get the service done within Honda's stipulated interval on 30days?
What would you have done? You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!
