As the oil and it's filter are not changed, I guess it should cost Rs : 0.

I'm just waiting for the service guys to get stocks of oil filter and Specially the stand. Last time I went there, They din't even have a stand. They din't even know that the CBR doesn't have a main stand

      • No point discssing these things further when people are looking to pay only for top speed with varied requirements. Its the fine difference several decade experience compared with one decade experience in engineering.

Can we put an end to this conversation pls?

a p220 @ 140(if it does) would not feel even 30% good (smooth, sturdy and safe) as a cbr.. Have no doubts about the cbr mate.. Its a great bike.. Some classes above our other so called indian sbks. Now, the bike may not go beyond 150kms as of now.. But it gets there very very quick.. I touched 140 @ arnd 8krpm and it reached there very quick.. There was a lot of punch still left but i pulled of as my bike had just arnd 500kms on odo (plus i wasnt wearing a jacket). And i did this thrice in my 180kms non-stop journey. The bike cruised @120 all the time without any vibrations and felt very very safe and easy.. Then went to shirdi day before yesterday.. A 90kms journey from here (180 to n fro) with a 75kg pillion and the bike easily cruised @ 120 on a single lane road.(i avoided to go faster as there is a lot of wind force on the pillion).
Now this satisfies me for what i paid. May not be true for some.

I don't know what speed is going to satisfy each individual and which bike can go the fastest. Our roads are surely not designed for speeds in excess of 80-90kmph. One small mistake on the road and no gear is going to stop anybody from breaking a couple of bones. I seriously think this testing should happen on tracks and people should not be encouraged here to test this on road which is full of maniacs who don't have any road sense.

                I do agree with you.

But unpredictable as the Indian traffic is, there's always some order in the chaos.. With experience you can tell where a car might pop out or where a madman biker might suddenly change lanes.. Keep your eyes open and let your intuition work..

Having said that.. I'd personally never exceed 80-90 as you said.. too many madmen around

                    • So, one should not buy CBR if he is already having a Pulsar 220 ?

                      Regarding speeds?

Well if speed's the only thing you're looking for then the addition 10kmph the CBR gives you shouldn't matter..

If speed is all you are looking at, then P220 / Modded R15 shd do just fine.

At 7k rpm in 6th gear, the bike does close to 120 kmph.
