Got paint protection + wash done today.. Also got my tank pad.. Blends well with the color :-D

Paint protection was done at the place where I get my car care done from... Guy does all types of cosmetic care from Maruti 800 to rolls royce... ;-)

You should search and find how to maintain an O-ring chain. Then you will get to know how to maintain it and why normal oils are not recommended.

          My 2 cents...

PPF? He used 3 different types of solutions. blueish one, dull orangeish one and a whiteish one. buffing machine for most of the places, and where buffing cannot be done, he did it with hands. I'm more than satisfied with the word done, Bike shines now. On plastics, he put formula1's polish. different solution for windshield and headlights.

Overall charge was 350/- (50/- tip) Workers were about to go for lunch when I went to get the job done, But the workers said we'll finish the job and then go for lunch. They were working on it with excitement.

So, time for some cosmetic mods, so here's what I've done

                  1) Got 'Honda' logos on the bottom cowls, just to break the montony of the all black surface

                  2) Textured tint on the visor, helps bring out the contrast b/w black and silver

                  3) Reflective rim tapes (white)

                  4) Keiti tank pad (TK 022)

                  5) SMD pilot lamps, look great on the bike, and bloody bright too ( Rs 650 a pair)

Please excuse the phone cam pic quality
                  Two good.
Just a concern, I had a bad experience with my grey unicorn(04) as still did not get the panels for it, do you guys think the same thing might happen with Silver Sword colour?
Yes nobody knows about future but still it does matter.
Suddenly I see silver is getting more attention now.

                  • Take care while buying..

Hey guys take special care while picking your bikes.. cause today went to honda showroon just to see if any of their models were readily available and the showroom was being remodelled so i had to go onto the first floor where all the bikes were kept... i was looking around and saw somethin really dirty and dustly leaned near a wall... is saw it from behind and thought it was an RTR cause f the darkness and layers nd layers of dirt.. i asked a guy and he said its the NEW 250r nd i asked whether i can hav a proper look... THEN IT STARTED.....
The senseless guy took it and literally raped it... He ripped the engine like it was his dad's bike and finally gave it to me... sat on it for a while and just messed with it(cant literally test drive it cause its in the first floor) and then asked about the waiting period.. he said 6 months...

                    2nd part...
He said twister's readily available and i could have it as soon as i settled the amount.... and when i asked to see one... the guy went down and brought a twister.... and when i say brought i meant he kinda rode the bike on stairs pumping the clutch ripping the engine...

Didnt say a word just left and headed onto yamaha showroom.. where i met someone special... but thats a different story so guys take special care... after all u'r paying so MUCH!!!!

I got that done on my car but the guy who did that said he can't do it on a bike so got a different treatment done. I'll get the PFF from 3m when I ride to bangalore in july. Any idea how much would that cost? and any suggestions on where to get that done?

                              • I got my bike today first bike in C.G. May be my pic will be in local news tomorrow due to being first person to officially get the bike. Had booked the Black coloured bike but due to it not being available for few more days not definite. I preferred going for the red one which was available.
