So, time for some cosmetic mods, so here's what I've done

    1) Got 'Honda' logos on the bottom cowls, just to break the montony of the all black surface

    2) Textured tint on the visor, helps bring out the contrast b/w black and silver

    3) Reflective rim tapes (white)

    4) Keiti tank pad (TK 022)

    5) SMD pilot lamps, look great on the bike, and bloody bright too ( Rs 650 a pair)

Please excuse the phone cam pic quality

    Very nice and decent mods.

With the Honda logo, its now more towards "CBR"

                    Hi ,

Took delivery of my std black CBR250R Yesterday. I found that chain was not properly lubed. Is it normal ? Should i get lubed immediately or should i wait for my first service ?

Take it to SVC if they say only then Lube chain .

I was told not to use Oil for lubing this chain ( by Engg ) . Why ..? ( can any one answer me please )
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

Yup! even my chain was running dry after 2 days of riding and i cud hear a "khat khat" sound..went to SVC, asked them for lubrication and they said "sir its gonna cost u 50 rs"...i said "really?how abt i use gear oil"....he said "although u can,but we wont suggest it cus it may damage chain and the rubber o-rings in the chain"

ultimately,he did it for free using a motul chain cleaner and then a chain lube (the one suggested to me by pravu a few posts back)

Well if you mean engine oil then its understandable because even on our desi bikes, using engine oil for lubing harms the sprocket...

The engine oil might harm the o-rings or whatever the cbr chain has..
