    I was expecting a CBR300.

How come there is no new thread for the Revfest yet?(I could not find it). sorry for posting this here.

Was having such a good day till this news. Utter disappointment. Like theironhorse said going down the bajaj And hero alley. Read somewhere honda plans to launch 15 new vehicles in 2015, hope(praying) CBR300R be later down the year(hopes very low after Revfest fiasco).

Got the Michelin street radial put in the front. Now both front and rear are Michelin radials. Did a sprint of 30 kms in city. I am very impressed by the tire.
I just wants to hold its line, whether be it straight line or a curve. But the flick ability is reduced. Was able to pitch in deeper and longer as compared to the psd, and could easily hold the line. But getting it back upright took much more effort as compared to the psd. May be due to the increased weight of the front tire. Have a little pain in my left shoulder. But they are like god sent for a person like me who likes to corner in deep. I am very excited just imagining the fun to be had once I get used to them. I hope to get better feel for the tires by the end of the week with a run of 500-700 kms.

May be time to change engine oil, but that too didnt made any difference.
On downhill, i shut off the engine to cut the engine vibrations. To my surprize the vibartions were still there.
Is that means theres something wrong in chain realted stuff.
Recorded a video of chain movement in first gear.

Is it normal? I shown this video to svc guy. He told me 'its ok..u will need to change the sproket, but as bike has lots of chain setting available, dont change the sproket now. Keep riding as it is. It will not harm'[emoji15] [emoji15]

I now feel happy for those who got fed up and took the CBR with the current paint scheme , and sorry for those who waited it out only to see this horrendous paint scheme as the "new" CBR.
While the rest of the world is getting the newer models of the 150R and 250R, we are now stuck with these lousy paint schemes.
      Quite a shame.

I was one of those unfortunate guys who waited for the facelifted CBR250R ! And sigh, we got this !

This sticker updates is something the Honda guys should have learnt from their Hero Honda association

Compared to this new paint scheme, I feel the 2011 black/silver, 2013 complete black and tricolour are good shades for cbr.(may be only me, looks always subjective )

I was expecting a 300 mill, what a disappointment. Honda is interested in commuter segment at the moment, guess what, we already have plenty of commuters and finally we have got a spoiler for unicorn...the all new honet series

So much for waiting. At least, I can wait, R3 is days ahead for launch. Yamaha , I hope will not disappoint in pricing department. Let's see.

But the R3 is not the Honda CBR's direct competitor. It will definitely be priced on par with the Benelli TNT 300 / Kawasaki Z250 - as the R3 is a 300 cc twin.

I was looking for a comfortable tourer with ABS for about 2L on the road - and the new CBR300R could have been the best choice for me.

I also feel I missed out on the Inazuma - which now looks like a very good VFM offering

If you feel Inazuma would've been great, then CBR250R is perfect. That is if you don't care about it being an old bike.

I remember my purchase of 250R. I rushed to the store and bought the 2011 color scheme (black and silver) with the fear that if I make it late I might end up with dull (personal opinion, don't kill me for this) 2013 colors. After searching for the 2011 Red-Silver by calling all Honda showrooms around Kolkata, I ended up with a Black one with which I'm pretty happy. And after 2years Honda repeats the same. Now for the color scheme I will say yaaaaak. Color chod ke baki all is well for Honda. In color department Yamaha scores always far better than Honda, even Bajaj do.

My suggestion would be if you don't like the new color and inclided towards a CBR go get one right now before the new stock reaches showroom, even you can get a bit discount on old color scheme. CBR comfort, ABS, reliability is top notch, no doubt in that.

Mmmm. Benelli tnt300, every review says it's great for a relaxed cruiser because of it's gearing. But anyday 2-Cyl gets more refinement and feels more crispier, I just love 'em But for now CBR250 is undisputed champion in touring packages....

so true, cheaper cost , cheaper maintenance , super good FE on highway, good seating posture and happily doing 120 all day if roads are good makes it the most VFM and reliable tourer. above that widespread Honda ASS.

I read an article which stated for every CBR 650 they assemble in the factory, 40 activas can be rolled out. No wonder they aren't enthusiastic about superbikes sales.

On top of this TNT doesn't equipped with ABS and somewhere I found it even doesn't have a Kill switch. What people will do with 2 cylinders if these basic things are missing?
