Is that means theres something wrong in chain realted stuff.
Recorded a video of chain movement in first gear.

Is it normal? I shown this video to svc guy. He told me 'its ok..u will need to change the sproket, but as bike has lots of chain setting available, dont change the sproket now. Keep riding as it is. It will not harm'[emoji15] [emoji15]

yes those vibes can be from the transmission. how often you clean and lube your chain ?
if you do not then every 1000km you should clean and lube your chain and every 500 atleast lube it if not riding in dusty conditions.
havev't checked the video yet. will check soon.

          1. the chainset is very new and 2000 km is hardly any usage yet
          2. svc guy has gone nuts if he is asking to change sprocket. if he suggests so and chain is so new then it can be faulty from factory which is a rare case,
however if its so then you have all rights to ask for replacement under warranty.

          3. ask them to set the chain slack properly. improper slack or wrong alignemen of rear tyre can cause such issues. try a diffrent SVC and ask them to set chain correctly.
          4. clean the chain with diesel + tooth brush . if you can get a grunge brush then better. wipe it and clean it then lube it

note : engine should be OFF while doing all of this. people have had fatal accidents with a moving chain so please be very cautious.

you never know however a leaked image few days before also hinted the same as the exhaust from same old model, it can be same body but can be newer engine which makes 29bhp. who knows. will reserve my bashing till evening after seeing the real deal and prices.

and that black/white 250 definitely looks ugly. mrf tyres.

website blocked in office. thanks for posting the info here. the specs are a huge let down given the rest of the world moved to new 250's good 2 years back and even newer 300 and 500 (r,x) models. what a sad move on Honda's part. 4 years and all they give is stickering job. moving along the likes of hero and bajaj.

definitely a let down. what is more saddening is making such a huge event like "revfest" and releasing the same old recipe.

though cbr250r is a no-nonse machine but why in the world India is always treated this way. always oldest detuned stuff comes our way.

Yeah bro. I agree, this is a huge letdown. So the revfest is basically planned for launching the CBR650F and the Hornet 160 (which will replace the unicorn). I have been looking forward to buy a CBR250R and was holding myself back expecting a bump in specs at the revfest launch. But it's just new paintjob and stickering that honda has to offer.

.The CBR250 sales have been at a all time low and now they come up with the same old boring specs, indeed it is a shame.

true from times of 2500+ units a month it went below 300 and they come up with this.

OT : krisha , i see that you wrote a review bout TBG gloves.and i have heard all good things bout the same. any idea if they sell their stuff through a reseller in HYD ?

if they plan to release a 160cc premium commuter and super over priced cbr650 (make in India) with so called 5% localization i doubt what kind of management they have to even organize such a large event. just doesn't make any sense. had they not hired artists for the events and other expenses. they could easily cut 1L each for each cbr650 from the market price easy. The expense will go in crores for everything. what a shame. at a cost of hollow marketing consumers end up paying more.

I agree with you whole heartedly. Y spend on marketing this much if they believe they have a good product in their line up.

I believe a simple commuter segment bike needs this kind of marketing technique because I needs to be reached to maximum persons, but a bikes like 250 and 650 will make its way to an enthusiasts anyway. So instead of spending huget amount on this they can invest in their productions lines.

OT: its followed every were, and mainly in the real estate business.
Either real estate builders are smart to learn these from the corporates or these corporates are dumb enough to implement this for their products.:banghead::banghead:

I am not aware of any re-sellers, but they do ship it to anywhere in the country and they are pretty good people to work with. So just drop them a message in FB, or call them up and you should be done with the purchase pretty soon.

                                I was expecting a CBR300.

How come there is no new thread for the Revfest yet?(I could not find it). sorry for posting this here.
Thanks for sharing the picture. This indeed is a bad paint scheme. I'd prefer the existing ones.

There is a Revfest live update thread in the News section.
